Copper is an important ingredient in Palia, and making a Copper Bar using it can help you craft many useful resources. However, there are certain prerequisites that you must keep in mind.
If you are starting from scratch, you would need the following items before you can craft Copper Bars:
- The Basic Smelter
- The Copper Bar Recipe
- Copper Ore

How To Make Copper Bars In Palia
Making The Basic Smelter
To make the Basic Smelter, you must first reach Mining Level 2. I reached Mining Level 2 by using my Pickaxe to break rocks and harvest resources. Stone and Flint is an excellent start.
Once I got to Mining Level 2, I made my way over to Hodari and purchased the Basic Smelter Recipe for 100 Gold. As far as I know, this is the easiest way to complete this step.
The Copper Bar Recipe
I found the Copper Bar Recipe in Hodari’s Mining Guild Store. You can purchase it from there for 50 Gold. After acquiring the Smelter and the Recipe, the only thing left is to find the Copper Ore and make the Copper Bar.

Copper Ore
Copper Ore can be found plentiful near the cliff rocks around Kilima Valley. Every Copper Bar requires 5 Copper Ores to make, so ensure that you farm it as much as you want.
Once you have enough Copper, go to the Basic Smelter and craft the Copper Bars. Each Copper Bar takes three seconds to craft. That’s it!
