The quest ‘One Majiri’s Trash’ is a play on the phrase ‘One man’s trash is another man’s treasure’. It all begins with a humble paperclip, which you’ll obtain when mining some platinum nodes in Elderwood. From there, it’s up to you to trade your way up, item by item, to turn this piece of junk into something valuable. This guide will show you how to make your way up from a paper clip to a brand-new furniture set.
Finding The Paperclip

To start the quest ‘One Majiri’s Trash’, you’ll first need to obtain a paperclip. This can be found by heading to Elderwood and mining the platinum nodes. Once you find the paperclip, the quest begins to find someone who would want the paperclip — Starting with Kenli, who deals with a lot of paperwork as a mayor! We also suggest you keep an eye on NPC schedules, as they tend to move about during the day.

You can find Kenli at the Mayor’s Estate at Kilima Village. After you interact with Kenli, he’ll recognise the importance of a paperclip and offer you a half-eaten sandwich in return.

Take this sandwich to Tau, who’s Hassian’s dog and is often found alongside him. You can also catch him wandering around the village sometimes. Once you offer the sandwich to Tau, he’ll point to a large rock, which is what he’s offering for the sandwich.

Since few people would find value in a heavy rock, our next objective is to take the rock to the village blacksmith, Sifuu. She’ll trade you the rock for homemade protein powder, with chapaan spleen as its secret ingredient.

Next, take the protein powder to Nai’o, who’s in Ormuu Pen, near Badruu’s Barn in Kilima Village. To make up for his loss of muscle mass, he’ll gracefully accept the protein powder and give us the Kenyatta’s Ring in return.

Take the ring to Eshe, who’s the one to appreciate family heirlooms. She will be located in City Hall and she’ll offer you a mud mask for the ring.

Meet Tamala to trade for the mud mask. She’ll be found in Bahari Bay, near her house. She’ll be reluctant at first, but choose any prompt when she’s asking why she should give you anything in return. But she’ll trade for it and give you a “Lucky” Flothinger Tail.

You can find Elouisa at the Kilima Village library. Trade the Flothinger tail with her, and you’ll get a Rasquell nip.

Your final trade will be done after taking the Rasquell nip to Zeki, who will be in the General Store or The Underground in the village. Apparently, the nip is very useful to Zeki, who’s willing to go above and beyond to get it. Select “The smile on your face is enough” prompt. Zeki will acknowledge that it is not enough and will reward you with the Mermaid Furniture Set.
This marks the completion of the quest ‘One Majiri’s Trash’ and this furniture set includes:
