The Thaumaturge puts you in the shoes of a Thaumaturge—a person who can tame ethereal entities called Salutors. Salutors feed on Flaws and with a Salutor bound to yourself, you will often face dialogue options that will feed the flaw of Pride that you carry within you. But the question is what it does and whether the effects are negative or positive.
Should You Feed The Flaw Of Pride In The Thaumaturge?
Yes, feeding the flaw essentially makes it stronger and opens up more prideful dialogue options later in the game. These dialogue options will be locked if you don’t feed the flaw enough throughout the game.
Keep in mind though that choosing the dialogue option that feeds the flaw of Pride isn’t always the right option to choose when it comes to the outcome. Sometimes it can work in your favor, and other times it will cause more trouble.

While you should be choosing these options as often as you can, you still have to be careful to not overdo it since it can lead to some problems. Many times, these dialogues will come off as rude and result in a fight where it can be avoided.
But if that is really the character you want to roleplay then go ahead. After all, picking fights is also beneficial in terms of netting you lots of XP if you manage to come out as the winner.
