The fight for democracy goes on in Helldivers 2 after taking down the entirety of Meridia and turning it into a black hole. The war doesn’t stop there, and the high command still needs Helldivers like you to kill as many bugs as possible, especially those pesky Stalkers. But you can’t just find Stalkers anywhere in Helldivers 2. Here is how you can get them by playing on a specific difficulty.
Which Difficulty Do Stalkers Spawn in Helldivers 2?
Stalkers spawn on Challenging difficulty or higher in Helldivers 2. They can only spawn if a Stalker Lair is on the map as a side objective, and Stalker Lairs are only one of the side objectives that can spawn on any given map on Terminid planets, so they won’t always be there.
If you have a personal or major order to kill Stalkers and if you are only trying to find a Stalker, then the best way to find them is to dive into a Terminid Planet at Challenging difficulty or higher, then roam around a bit and see if invisible Stalkers attack you. If they are, then there is a Stalker Lair or two on the map.

Following a Stalker after it attacks and retreats can be a great way to figure out where the Stalker Lair is. Make sure that you get the desired amount of Stalker kills for your objective before you destroy the Stalker Lair as Stalkers will keep spawning from the lair as long as it’s intact.
If you are only trying to kill Stalkers for a personal/major order then I recommend you play on the Challenging difficulty and nothing higher. This is because Stalkers spawn on that difficulty and there is no incentive for you to be playing on higher difficulty than that as it’s only going to make the job of completing your order even more difficult.
