A Twitch streamer ‘Jacizockt’ has recently leaked some gameplay footage from the upcoming ARC Raiders. The game is supposed to be a third-person free-to-play extraction shooter game. The closed beta tests for the title began on June 29 and despite various strict NDAs, the streamer has posted a large chunk of gameplay footage that reveals lots of exciting details. While the original recording of the footage has been removed from the internet, a YouTuber named ‘Player 2’ has got their hands on it and uploaded the footage on their channel.

ARC Raiders features a centralized main hub called ‘Traders’
ARC Raiders, judging by the leaked footage, is shaping out to be a worthy extraction shooter game, with lots of improvements over other similar titles in the genre. The developer, Embark Studios offers a variety of quality-of-life improvements in the upcoming title, including a centralized main hub that features an auto-match system for the online players. This feature will allow players to focus solely on the mission, with a guarantee that all the vendors, inventory stocks, and looted content will be stored in a single location. The main menu screen also features an ‘Invite a Friend’ option, as well as a prompt to join the developer’s discord channel.
The main hub of ARC Raiders, as seen in the leaked footage, also features several mini-menus that grant the players access to operations, gun shop, medical bay, grenade shop, and security. All of these are tagged under a pillar page called Traders, which is supposed to be a player’s first point of contact in the game.

The operations menu discloses various quests available for the players to undertake. In the leaked footage, the streamer has blocked out the mission objectives. But we can see the mission was called ‘A Spaceport Run’ as well as the rewards for completing the mission, which were in-game currency, a gun, and some potential crafting ingredients. A closer look at the gun shop in ARC Raiders revealed some of the gun options available to players, including assault rifles, pistols, machine guns, grenade launchers, and some gun maintenance equipment, indicating that ARC Raider’s gameplay might include certain weapon degradation elements.
