Diablo 4 is going to be more visually appealing on PC, with ray tracing arriving on March 26.
While the game already benefits from DLSS 3, the new graphical additions will make it prettier on capable hardware. Unfortunately, we don’t know if Nvidia will ever bring these new upgrades for Diablo 4 on consoles.
According to Nvidia’s announcement blog, players can expect realistic reflections on surfaces like armor, water, and windows. This should lead to a more immersive gameplay when the feature is turned on.
Additionally, ray tracing will enhance shadows throughout the game world, adding extra depth to the atmosphere. This could be the most noticeable upgrade on high end PCs. Diablo 4 also supports Nvidia Reflex, which helps reduce system latency and makes the gameplay more responsive.
More information regarding the specifics of the Diablo 4 ray tracing update, such as potential performance benchmarks, is expected closer to its release date.
The last major news was back in October when Diablo 4 released on Steam. This opened up the game to more potential players. With the latest update, developers have an environment to attract more PC players to the title.
