Family Guy’s Peter Griffin and Metal Gear’s protagonist Solid Snake might be coming to Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 1, according to a new leak.
The leak was posted on X and revealed many upcoming elements for the online battle royale. From the leaked images, netizens have quickly identified the two popular character skins.
The leak first came from a gaming leaker, Flobby_Leaker1, who specializes in Fortnite data leaks. Flobby found an image in which Xbox Store accidently leaked the cover photo for the game’s upcoming season.
This leak was further corroborated by credible leaker iFireMonkey, widely considered as one of the top Fortnite leakers.
In their tweet, iFireMonkey confirmed that the image leaked (accidently) by the Xbox Store is real. They also revealed some concept art images for the characters that are expected to make an appearance in the game’s upcoming season.
Apart from concept arts for Peter Griffin and Solid Snake, iFireMonkey also shared the concept art for other character skins visible in the leaked Xbox Store cover image. These include:
- Survey Tiger Guy
- The Underground Jonesy Skin
- Other Survey Skins
Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 1 Will be Called ‘Underground’
If the leaked image is to be believed, Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 1 will be titled ‘Underground’. While the release time for Season 5 Chapter 1 remains a mystery, the event is scheduled to begin on upcoming Sunday, Dec 3, 2023.
The next season of Fortnite is expected to begin after the Big Bang event has taken place, which will mark the end of short yet popular Fortnite OG season.
