‘Im A Hero Too’, a trusted leaker, made comments on ResetEra that hint towards the unveiling of Persona 3 remake at the Xbox showcase.
In the forum’s thread, ‘Im A Hero Too’ asked the date for the Xbox Showcase. When a user replied back with the date, the leaker went on to say,
“@Reyes, @Tace and anyone interested in Persona, make sure you watch it. It’ll be Evoke-itive.”
The emphasis on ‘Evoke-itive’ is a hint towards the Evoker, a gun in the series that allows Personas to be summoned. The source has been previously vetted by ResetEra moderators for claiming that Persona 6 and Persona 3 remakes are pretty far along in development.
Everything we know about Persona 3 remake so far
Web domain registration
In March, a web domain titled P3RE.JP was registered, potentially hinting at the Persona 3 remake. This is a solid clue, as previous games from the series, such as Persona 4 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers, were leaked through similar web domain registrations.
Microsoft’s previous marketing tie-ups with the series
Microsoft has previously had the marketing rights for games like Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden. This increases the probability of the new Persona 3 remake being unveiled at the Xbox Showcase instead of the PlayStation Showcase. Although the games are going to be released with a tie-up with Microsoft, they are not going to be exclusive to the platform.
Controversial leaked footage
In the past, we have seen some leaked, alleged footage of the Persona 3 remake, but this was dismissed by the community as the authenticity was questioned. Back then, ‘Im A Hero Too’ also made a comment on the footage, calling it “100% fake” but hinted at an upcoming trailer, suggesting that the remake is still in development.
While not all leaks can be trusted, the anticipation for an upcoming trailer at the Xbox Showcase on June 11 continues to grow. Fans are eager to see if the rumors will finally be confirmed and if the Persona 3 remake is indeed on its way.
