The Tribe Must Survive is an upcoming survival strategy game developed by Walking Tree Games and published by Payday 3 developer, Starbreeze entertainment. Tagged as an ‘unforgiving strategy survival game set in Lovecraftian stone age’, The Tribe Must Survive combines the strategic depth of tribe building with the thrill of survival and rogue-like elements.
The publisher, Starbreeze Entertainment has announced that the game will launch in early access on February 22, 2024. The players can enjoy the early access version of the game through Steam. The early access version of The Tribe Must Survive will cost $11.99 and players can currently wishlist the game through its Steam page.
The Tribe Must Survive will be available in early access for three months, offering the developers a solid amount of time to fine tune the game before its full release in Q2 2024. The publisher has also stated that it plans to release some additional content along with the full release of this game. Through the early access version, the publisher aims to foster a collaborative partnership between players and developers, strengthening their vision of ‘building a community by making games’.
The Tribe Must Survive is the first project developed by The Walking Tree Games, a company founded by Simon Mittrücker and Georg Meyer, who have previously worked with Flaregames. This upcoming game aims to offer a combined experience of survival and strategy, set against the backdrop of classic Lovecraftian horror setting.
