Layla and Remi are the ideal Redfall characters to choose if you’re playing solo or co-op. While Remi’s abilities increase your team’s healing and power, Layla’s are more suited to solo players as you can increase your survivability.
Starting off, Layla’s all three skills come in handy when playing alone more so than when you’re with a team. ‘Lift’ is perhaps the least useful in battle, although it can come in handy when you need to escape a dangerous situation or climb onto a roof. Remi, on the other hand, excels at teamwork. ‘Mobilize’ is her best ability as it can heal your team, provided they stick together. Siren, her robot buddy, can distract enemies while you’re busy runnin’ and gunnin’. Finally, her ‘C4 Charge’ gives Remi some extra advantage since it deals a heavy blow to your enemies. Her abilities in a good synergy give you an edge over your teammates, given you use them in a fair balance.
These heroes can all be used in cooperative or solo games. But if you want to have a simpler experience, these two typically stand out in both of those modes. If you are playing Redfall on one of the more severe difficulty settings, you should absolutely choose Layla or Remi.
