How Does Character Progression Work In Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the main progression of your character is based on your Assassin Ranks which is known as your Hidden One Ranks. There are certain areas on the map that require you to be a certain Hidden One rank but you can still go there despite being a lower rank. It will just mean that the enemies will be tougher to deal with since you don’t have the abilities and tools required yet to fight them efficiently.
Here are all the Hidden One ranks and how you can reach each of them:
- Initiate Rank: Given after the Taking Flight mission.
- Apprentice Rank: Given after Assassinating Al Ghul ‘The Slaver’.
- Novice Rank: Given after the Mastermind in the Shadows Investigation mission.
- Disciple Rank: Given after The Warlord Investigation mission.
- Assassin Rank: Further completing other side activities.
- Master Rank: Further completing other side activities.
Leveling up your character will give you Skill Points that you can use to unlock various abilities. However, skill points can be earned from other activities besides the main story missions.
How To Earn Skill Points In Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Skills in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are divided into three distinct sections each representing a particular playstyle. These three categories are Phantom, Trickster, and Predator. As you earn skill points, you will be able to freely put points in whichever category you like, as long as there is a skill available to unlock within it.
Skill points can be acquired through multiple ways which can vary from being trivial to challenging missions. Let’s look at every possible way to earn skill points in detail.
Contracts
Contracts are open-world missions that give you certain challenges that you will need to complete to get their reward. These Contract missions come in various types like Heists, Assassinations, etc.
However, not all Contract missions will give you skill points, so you will have to check the reward beforehand and make sure the contract you take has a Skill point reward attached to it. Contracts can be found at the Contracts Board in any Assassins Bureau that you unlock.
Lost Books
This is an essential tip for this Assassin’s Creed Mirage level up guide. Whenever you see a Lost Book icon pop up on your minimap, make sure you collect it as each Lost Book will grant you 1 Skill Point.
These Lost Books cannot be seen on the minimap until you get close to its vicinity with your character. So always keep an eye out for these. Alternatively, you can also get a map from a local Cartographer vendor which will reveal the locations of all Lost Books for that region.
Hidden One Rank
The last and most obvious method to get Skill points is by leveling up the main progression of your character which is the Hidden One rank. While this is initially tied to the main story progression you can further increase it by doing Tales of Baghdad side missions and also by collecting all the possible collectibles.
