Titan Quest 2 – Is There A Level Cap?
Yes, Titan Quest 2 does have a level cap, especially in its current early access state. Similar to other action RPGs, there’s a point beyond which you can’t level up your character. Although the original Titan Quest had a fairly high level cap, 75 in the base game and 85 in the Anniversary Edition, the sequel’s early access version keeps things a bit more limited for now. So you can keep grinding levels by beating the Gryphon a few times without worrying.

What’s the Level Cap in Titan Quest 2?
As of early access, the maximum level your character can reach in Titan Quest 2 is Level 40. This cap is in place for the current build and is expected to increase once the full version of the game is released. Maybe it is worth saving your level farming for later on. It’s worth noting that this is subject to change as the game receives more updates and content expansions.

How To Check Your Level in Titan Quest 2
Your current level in Titan Quest 2 is displayed in the top-left corner of the screen. However, this display doesn’t show your exact experience points. If you want more detailed stats, press the Esc key, open the Attributes menu, and then select Core Stats to view full level details and character stats.
Skill Level Caps and Modifiers
Aside from your character’s overall level, skills in Titan Quest 2 also have their own individual level caps. These determine how far you can upgrade specific abilities.
- Active Skills can be leveled up to Level 17.
- Passive Skills max out at Level 8.
Each skill can also be modified to further enhance its effects. However, there are limits here too:
- Active Skills can have up to 5 modifiers.
- Passive Skills are limited to 2 modifiers.
These modifiers operate on a point-based system. You get 10 points per skill, and each modifier can cost either 1 or 2 points, depending on its strength. This encourages you to plan your build carefully and choose modifiers that best suit your playstyle.
