Larian Studios has announced a Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Drops campaign, which will go live from August 3 at 4 PM UTC/ 9 AM PDT. This is a limited-time campaign that will be available until August 17. Fans of the game can earn some exclusive Baldur’s Gate 3 loot by watching around 2 hours of Twitch streams after the full release of the game.
How to participate in the Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Drops campaign?
Larian Studios has made the process quite easy for people who wish to earn exclusive loot. You don’t even need to actually own a copy of the game to participate.
- All you need to do is head to your favorite Twitch streamer streaming the game and watch it for two hours. The loot is available only from creators who have activated the drops though, so lookout for that as well.
- Once you’ve watched over 2 hours of a Baldur’s Gate 3 drop-enabled Twitch stream, you can head to your Twitch inventory and claim the drops.
- Once claimed the drops will be available in your in-game camp chest in Baldur’s Gate 3 if you have already installed the game and linked Twitch with a Larian account.
- If you haven’t downloaded the game already, you can still claim the drops and they will still be available after you have installed the game.
It is not mandatory to watch a single stream for two hours though. You can watch any of your favorite Twitch creators play Baldur’s Gate 3 to claim the rewards. The collective watch-time just has to add up to 2 hours. While you do not require a Larian account to claim the drops, they will expire after 7 days if you haven’t linked it with twitch.
What loot can you expect from the Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Drops Campaign?
This event is your only chance to earn some exclusive Baldur’s Gate 3 camping gear which cannot be found elsewhere. The comfy camp clothing line includes Streamhopper loafers, Channeler’s trunks, Periwinkle undergarments and Chatterbox’s Tabard. All these clothing come in Twitch colors as well.
How do Streamers participate in the Drops Campaign?
If you are a Twitch streamer you can simply click this link to head to the creator dashboard and become part of the campaign. You need to link your Larian account with your Twitch account before doing this though.
