Once Human is a game where you have to survive and adapt in a spooky post-apocalyptic world. You can play alone, but lots of people have more fun teaming up with friends to take on challenges and explore the environment. So below, we’ll show you how to change worlds.
Once Human – How Do You Change Worlds?
To change worlds, and even to change worlds with friends, all of you need to be in the same part of the game with the same environment. In Once Human, the worlds are like servers, so it is possible to avoid having too many players in one place. While you can’t move things between different places, players and their stuff can go wherever they want.

Steps to Change Worlds
Changing worlds in Once Human is easy. After finishing the tutorial, you just need to keep playing until you come across the first Teleportation Tower. This is a special landmark on the game map. These towers are easy to spot because they look like a signal with a tower shape.
- Once you have discovered a Teleportation Tower, simply approach it and press the G key.
- Upon interaction, a list of different world options will be presented, allowing you to choose the desired destination.
- After the initial interaction, the Teleportation Tower becomes a marked fast travel location on your world map. This allows for quicker access to change worlds and join your friends for co-op play.
You can team up through the Social tab after transitioning to the same world as your friends. This can be accomplished by creating a Hive for up to three players or a Warband comprising multiple Hives, similar to guild systems in other MMO games.
