One of the most famous Destiny 2 weapons to come out during the Witch Queen Expansion is the Calus Mini Tool. It is an Energy Submachine Gun best used for PvE as it is very powerful with the correct perks, but it can also be a viable weapon for PvP.
Tip: While the Calus Mini Tool has only a few other competitions for PvE, something like the Ikelos SMG can be better for PvP.
The Calus can roll with the Incandescent perk, which also makes it the only Solar Submachine Gun to have that. So let’s take a look at how you can get this SMG in the current version of the game.
How To Get The Calus Mini Tool In Destiny 2 in 2023

As with most of the old seasonal weapons, the Calus Mini Tool in Destiny 2 can be obtained from either Xur or Banshee-44 whenever they get it in one of their weekly rotations. You can also get it as a World drop, but since there are so many different weapons in its pool, the chances of it dropping are very low. It is even worse if you are trying to get a god-roll.
You can use the Xur locator here to find out where he can be found in the game currently and also check the items currently being offered in his weekly rotation. If not Xur, you will have to go check with Banshee at the Tower. Unfortunately, if both the vendors don’t have it, you will have to try your luck in the next weekly rotation.
