Vestige Seeds hold immense importance in Lords of the Fallen. When you have a Vestige Seed, you can craft Vestige Seedlings, which serve as convenient checkpoints placed on Umbral flowerbeds scattered throughout monster-filled areas. Having a Vestige Seed handy can significantly improve your exploration experience, particularly in challenging locations as you progress further into the game.
Although you’ll discover shortcuts that loop back to this checkpoint, the areas between can be extensive and challenging. This is where Vestige Seeds come in handy—they allow you to craft your own checkpoints at flower beds along your journey.

Where To Find Vestige Seeds?
Defeating Bosses
In Lords of the Fallen, Vestige Seeds are acquired by defeating important bosses or occasionally by taking down formidable enemies in the Umbral Realm. If you rely solely on these sources, you must be cautious about when and where you use them because the supply of Vestige Seeds is quite limited. However, there’s a smart way to gather a substantial amount of these useful items back in Skyrest.
Buying From Molhu
You have the opportunity to buy Vestige Seeds from Molhu in Skyrest. Each seed costs 2,500, and the best part is, you can purchase them in unlimited quantities.
Molhu is accessible only when you’re in the Umbral Realm, so be sure to shift there before seeking him out. He can be found up the stairs to the left of the Skyrest vestige. However, it’s important to note that you can only carry up to 5 Vestige Seeds at a time. If you’re already at the maximum capacity, you won’t be able to buy any more from Molhu.
Placing a Seedling
To gather Vestige Seeds effectively, think about placing a Seedling at the heart of areas like Calrath or The Forsaken Fen, abundant with Umbral enemies. Just be cautious because regular enemies from Axiom can still be present. Prioritize hunting down the less common Umbral enemies, then deal with the continuous wave of zombie-like foes as you return to your Seedling to refresh the map. Repeat this cycle, and soon you’ll amass a sufficient amount to support you through multiple boss battles.
Fast Travel Using Vestige Seeds
In Lords of the Fallen, a new feature called Vestige Seedling is introduced. This lets players create their own resting points in the game world if they discover a suitable spot for it. Vestige Seedlings can specifically be placed in Umbral flower beds, identifiable by clusters of white flowers on the ground.
Once set up, these Seedlings enable players to teleport to and from that location, just like they would using a standard Vestige resting point. However, exercise caution when attempting to place a Vestige Seedling, as enemies can interrupt you during the animation.
You can only teleport to Vestiges that you’ve already found and rested at. If you come across a Vestige but don’t use it, it won’t be saved for your character, and you won’t be able to teleport to that location later.
