In Remnant 2, Astropath Temple is proof of why Ne’rud is a difficult world to traverse. While finding the entrance to the temple itself can be a perplexing affair, the real challenge lies in finishing the quests within. Venturing within the hazardous walls of the Astropath Temple allows you to accomplish three major feats that will help you progress through the Ne’rud questline. All this is easier said than done though as the temple and the beings within are less than welcoming and the derelict structure itself is a maze that can leave you wandering for days.
So, here is a walkthrough to help you with the hurdle that is the Astropath Temple.
Finding the Astropath Temple in Remnant 2
Finding the Astropath Temple in an area filled with dungeons can prove tricky. To make things worse there is no defined name for the entrance to the temple. The temple entrance is simply marked as ‘???’ on the map. To locate the dungeon though, you have to follow the exclamation mark that leads you to the entrance. Since the location of the entrance is dynamic, following the mark is the only way to reach the temple.
One aspect that distinguishes this entrance from other dungeons is the presence of an illuminated obelisk. Going past this you can enter the Astropath Temple.
Confronting Tal’ Ratha

Once you are in the temple, you can head through the Forgotten Prison for your encounter with Tal’Ratha. The Remnant 2 boss now has a Noah complex and brags about his ark that is meant to preserve all that is left of the Drzyr. Tal’Ratha will assure you that his efforts have now ensured that N’Erud will be returned to Alepsis-Taura. He also makes his intentions clear as he invites you to his ark.
No matter how your conversation with Tal’Ratha goes, it will end with a boss fight. You can ignore his invitation and defeat him in the physical realm which will ultimately allow you to craft the Nebula Handgun. Or, you can simply accept his invitation and get eaten which will lead to a confrontation with the Metaphysical form of Tal’Ratha defeating which will allow you to craft the Gas Giant.
Whichever path you choose toward the end of the Remnant 2 Astropath Temple level, you end up destroying Tal’Ratha and acquiring a very powerful weapon, and finishing the N’Erud line of quests. You will then be teleported back to the main quest. After exploring the Astropath Temple, don’t miss the chance to visit the serene location of Tiller’s Rest for a different experience
