Plain Ribbon is a somewhat common quest item in Remnant 2 that you come across while traversing the different locations of the Losomn region. While obtaining the item is not a complex task, you may wonder how to utilize it effectively.
Here you will find everything about the process of finding and using the Plain Ribbon in Remnant 2.
Locating the Plain Ribbon in Remnant 2
You can find the Plain Ribbon as you travel within the realms of Losomn. It is not particularly well hidden, making it accessible to most players during their journey. The Plain Ribbon can be found in four specific locations within the game which can be looted from a Fae corpse which is found in the locations listed below:
- Gilded Chambers
- The Great Hall
- Council Chamber
- Shattered Gallery
The item emits a red light, so you should look out for a red glare.
Remnant 2 Plain Ribbon usage
Once you have acquired the Plain Ribbon, it’s time to put it to use. Follow these steps to unleash its true potential:
Step 1: Locate the Statue of the Faes
In Losomn’s Council Chamber where you can find the Plain Ribbon, keep an eye out for a statue depicting two Faes holding hands. Faelin and Faerin represent the light and dark aspects of the game world.
Step 2: Interact and wrap the Plain Ribbon
Approach the statue and interact with it. Choose the option to wrap the Plain Ribbon around the wrists of the Faes depicted in the statue.
Step 3: Leave and return to collect the transformed ribbon
After wrapping the Plain Ribbon, exit the current map. Re-enter the map again to progress to the next step.
Return to the statue of the Faes, and you will discover that the Plain Ribbon has undergone a transformation. Depending on whether you are in the Light World or the Dark World, the Plain Ribbon will become either the Silver Ribbon or the Golden Ribbon, respectively.
Silver Ribbon (Amulet)
The Silver Ribbon enhances Skill damage by 25% and provides a haste buff for 15 seconds upon activating a Skill.
Golden Ribbon (Amulet)
The Golden Ribbon increases Mod damage by 25% and grants a haste buff for 15 seconds upon activating a Mod. Check out the best 5 Amulets in the game.
Choosing the Right Ribbon
The transformation of the Plain Ribbon into either the Silver or Golden Ribbon depends on the version of Losomn you are in. As mentioned above, completing the event on a light map awards the Golden Ribbon, while completing it on a dark map awards the Silver Ribbon. Choosing one or the other depends completely on what you are seeking for your Remnant 2 character build.
Nimue’s Ribbon: Combination of Gold and Silver Ribbon
For players who have managed to acquire both the Golden and Silver Ribbons, an additional option awaits. These ribbons may be combined by Nimue, an NPC that resides in Nimue’s Retreat on Losomn, to produce Nimue’s Ribbon. This powerful amulet increases Relic Healing Effectiveness by 50% and grants a haste buff for 25 seconds when a Relic is activated.
This formidable amulet is an excellent choice for a medic build. After obtaining the Plain Ribbon, you might also want to seek out the Generating Band for additional benefits in the game.
