Weapon Mods in Remnant 2 add some varied gameplay elements to how you use your weapon in the Soulslike shooter. While some mods come pre-installed in weapons, others need to be crafted using specific items like the Stasis Core in Remnant 2. This item is used to craft the Stasis Beam weapon mod which can then be equipped to any Long-gun or Hand gun that has an empty weapon mod slot.
In this guide below, we will show you how to get Stasis Core in Remnant 2 and give you more details on how you can use it to craft the Stasis Beam weapon mod.
How to find Stasis Core in Remnant 2
The Stasis Core can be obtained after doing the Zombie Cave event in a secret area at one of the open exploration sections of N’Erud. This can be generated in several places based on each player’s playthrough. It’s more likely to be in the Astropath storyline where you need to find Soul Sparks.
Here is a step-by-step guide to help you find the Stasis Core in Remnant 2:
- Go into one of the big open outside sections of N’Erud. Locations such as The Eon Vault, Timeless Horizon, Phantom Wasteland, and Abyssal Rift. Each playthrough of N’Erud has two of these, so it can be in either one for you.

Getting to this area will require you to go through the fog that makes your player puke. Don’t worry, you will not die if you go to it straight without stopping.

Remnant 2: Statis Beam weapon mod stats and requirements

The Statis Beam is a powerful weapon mod that can put the ‘Slow’ status effect on your enemies. In order to craft it, you will need the Stasis Core. It can be crafted at Ava McCabe in Ward 13. Here are all the items required:
- 650x Scrap
- 5x Lumenite Crystal
- 1x Stasis Core
When equipped and activated on a weapon, the Statis Beam fires a beam that deals 15 damage per second and applies the ‘Slow’ debuff. The damage per second can increase up to 45 based on weapon level. After 3 seconds of its application to a target enemy, ‘Slow’ becomes the ‘Stasis’ effect, freezing the target in place for 10s. The mod can have multiple uses as it releases a pulse each time it is activated. Each pulse requires 50 Mod Power.
