Finding these elusive Soul Sparks is a crucial part of the Remnant 2 main quest, as they contain the living data of the extinct Drzyr race, which tragically perished when N’Erud crossed the event horizon. Upon arriving in N’Erud, you are urged by an enigmatic voice to find these artifacts and it directs players to Tal’Ratha.
You must explore and put your observation skills to test to find the Soul Sparks banking on the game’s hazy hints.
Finding the Soul Sparks in Remnant 2
1. Exit the Prison: After speaking with the enigmatic voice inside the Prison, proceed to N’Erud’s surface.
2. Locate the Building: Locate a structure with a spherical lift that descends to the Hatchery.
NOTE: The dungeon that leads to the Aeon Vault checkpoint may differ for each player because the map’s layout is produced at random.
3. Go to the Aeon Vault: You’ll have a new section of N’Erud to explore when you pass the Aeon Vault checkpoint. The Soul Sparks are in the overworld, so stay away from any yellow gate dungeons.
4. Find the Right Building: Look for a building with an elevator that isn’t surrounded by enemies. It is important to remember if you find a yellow door which requires you to load an area, head back since this is not the right dungeon and the Soul Spark is not located here.
5. Claim the Soul Sparks: Once you locate the appropriate building, enter it and grab the Soul Sparks lying in front of you. There are no complex puzzles to solve but be cautious of any enemies that might ambush you once you pick up the Soul Sparks.
How to proceed with the Soul Spark Cylinder
To proceed with the Soul Spark Cylinder, you’ll need to find The Forgotten Prison. This enormous and imposing building will grant you access to Tal’Ratha’s room when you possess the Soul Spark Cylinder.
It is essential to remember that you cannot return the Soul Spark Cylinder to Tal’Ratha’s main control room in the Abyssal Rift, as there is no entry to his tank there. He seeks to preserve the data of his race within himself through the Soul Sparks. Handing over the Soul Sparks will lead to an intriguing conversation with him, providing further insight into the story. Collecting Soul Sparks is essential for character progression.
