Starfield is a fairly straightforward RPG with some space elements that shouldn’t be too difficult to manage even for beginners. Still, the classic cheat code temptation is always a persistent factor among gamers and most of you are already scouring the web for some. Besides adding in a million credits or cheating of that kind, Starfield console commands can come in handy in a multitude of scenarios
We have compiled a list of all essential console commands in Starfield that will allow you to directly access whatever it is that you desire in the game without having to progress through the game conventionally as the developers intended you to.
How to activate console commands in Starfield?
Like most games on PC Starfield uses the classic console key. If you don’t already know, it is the tilde key (~/`), the one to the far left of the conventional keyboard sitting right below the ESC key. Once you press the key, the game will open up a translucent dialogue box where you can enter the desired command. Once you’ve entered the command you can simply hit the enter key for it to take effect. When you first access the command console box, you’ll be greeted with a warning mentioning that using certain commands will disable certain achievements in the game.
This is a cause of concern which can easily be addressed through mods. The best mod to this available at this point is the Baka Achievement Enabler. Not only does this mod negate the disabling of achievements when using the command console, but it also alleviates the issue when using other mods. This mod will also remove the warning message which pops up the first time you use the console.
It is worth noting though that using console commands could corrupt your save files if you are not judicious with their use.
