Survival in Once Human can get a bit too tough at times, especially when you can’t find rare items like Fireproof Plastic. It doesn’t help either that the game itself fails at pointing you in the right direction when you need such items. Fortunately, I have all the information you need to get Fireproof Plastic in Once Human.
How to Get Fireproof Plastic in Once Human
You can get Fireproof Plastic by disassembling Scraps in Once Human or finding it in the Iron River area. After gathering a decent amount of Scraps, which can be found all over the map, use a Disassembly Bench at your base to disassemble Scraps into Fireproof Plastic.
If you want to directly loot Fireproof Plastic from Iron River, I advise you to head to the Highland buildings at coordinates 4973, and -4489. These buildings have a lot of valuable loot in there along with Fireproof Plastic.
But be careful if you are at a low level as this area is meant to only be explored at higher levels. As long as you avoid enemies, you should still be able to sneak around this area and get the items you need before getting involved in any engagements with the enemies.

How to Make a Disassembly Bench in Once Human
Disassembly Bench in Once Human can be crafted from the Facilities tab in the Building menu and it requires the following items:
- Gravel x20 – Obtained by simply mining rocks
- Copper Ingots x10 – Obtained by mining Copper Ore and refining it in a Furnace
Once you get the Disassembly Bench, it will be much easier to get Fireproof Plastic in Once Human since you won’t have to go out in dangerous areas; instead, you can now just farm Scraps and disassemble them.
