Larian Studios has announced that a new ‘hefty’ patch 6 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will release next week. To celebrate the Valentine’s Day, the upcoming patch is set to include ‘improved smooches’ between the characters.
Larian Studios announced via an X post that patch 6 for Baldur’s Gate 3 will drop sometime during the next week. Apart from various bug fixes, the patch is set to include improved animations of intimacy between the characters. The studio has even posted a small clip depicting the improved animation. One of them is Astarion, the crowd favorite companion in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Full patch notes will be revealed in coming days, according to the developer. However, apart from spicing up the romance, admittedly a massive selling point for BG3, the patch will include some other fixes. The new patch will introduce several new camp idle animations, as well as include new Legendary Actions for players using the Honour Mode.
According to Larian, the upcoming patch is a ‘hefty’ one, so players can expect many improvements and loads of new animations for the in-game characters.
