Enshrouded has recently achieved an impressive milestone. Less than a month since its early access release, the co-op survival RPG has amassed more than 2 million players.
Keen Games posted on X to inform fans of this impressive milestone, stating,
“We still cannot believe our eyes!”
Enshrouded was released in early access on January 24, 2024 and had amassed one million players in just four days of launch. The game has amassed a 9/10 rating on Steam and an all-time concurrent player peak of 160,405 on Steam. Even at the time of writing this article, the game boasted a 24 hour player peak of 65,397. Most of the reviews of Enshrouded (more than 30,000 out of 32,595) have been positive and it enjoys the 16th position on Steam’s Top Sellers list.
For a game that was released in the same week as Palworld, a global phenomenon, Enshrouded seems to have managed to carve out a significant chunk of the market. It’s also worth noting that the game is currently in early access, and only playable on PC. The full game is slated for release in later 2024, along with console versions.
