GTA 5, one of the best-selling video games of all time, is back once again on Microsoft’s gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass. In a recent Xbox Wire post, Microsoft announced all the games coming to Game Pass in July 2023, and Rockstar Game’s celebrated open-world RPG is the headliner of this month’s additions. The game will be available for download for subscribers using both console and cloud services. Both console versions of GTA 5, Xbox One, as well as Xbox Series X|S, will be making their way to Game Pass. Other prominent titles making their way to game pass this month include The Cave, Common’ Hood, Exoprimal, and McPixel 3.
GTA 5 makes its third appearance on Game Pass
GTA 5 has had an on-off relationship with Microsoft’s subscription service. The game made its first appearance on the service in April 2020. However, it was removed only a month later, being replaced with another one of Rockstar’s celebrated games, Red Dead Redemption 2. After a gap of a year, Grand Theft Auto 5 returned to Xbox Game Pass once again in April 2021, featuring support for Xbox Cloud Gaming. The game was available for subscribers for five months in 2021 before it was removed once more in August 2021. July 2023 marks the third time the game will be featured on Game Pass and fans are surely hoping it stays on for longer than the last two times.
