Remnant 2: How to Solve Lament Door Puzzle

Remnant 2, the latest Soulslike shooter RPG showers you with various puzzles and obstacles. Lament Door Puzzle is one such contraption that you encounter at the final section of the Lament dungeon. Solving the intricate Lament Door Puzzle can be as rewarding as mastering the mysteries of the Navigation Room Event in Remnant 2.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to solve the puzzle, and all about the rewards that await you.

Remnant 2 Lament Door Puzzle: How to get Kolket’s Key

1. The first step is to solve the Dial puzzle in the Lament dungeon. To unlock the door in front of the pedestal, line up the symbols on the dial according to the hints from the book and the corpses.
2. Once you proceed down the staircase beyond the door, open the coffin on your left. Inside, you’ll encounter the Wither miniboss, whose main weakness is a red parasite in its chest.
3. Quickly deal enough damage to the Wither to knock it down and prevent it from regenerating fully.
4. Use a close-range weapon like a shotgun to target and kill the parasite inside the Wither’s chest.
5. During the Wither’s low HP phase, it will transform into a small flying creature and attempt to regenerate. Stay aggressive and continuously attack to prevent it from fully recovering.
6. After defeating the Wither, you will receive Kolket’s Razor and the Overdrive Mutator.
7. Inspect Kolket’s Razor in your inventory and rotate the camera towards the item’s upper tip. Click the ‘Interact’ button to transform it into Kolket’s Key, which unlocks the locked door.

NOTE: Kolket’s Razor is a randomized drop. So, you may need to reroll at Yaesha if you don’t get it on your first attempt.

How to reach Lament’s Locked Door in Remnant 2

1. Once you have Kolket’s Key, return to the pedestal and go through the doorway on the far-left side of the wall.
2. Proceed along the narrow and straightforward path, shooting between the straight gaps in front of each floating rock to find the invisible path.
3. Shoot until your bullets deflect back, indicating the path to the corresponding platform. Memorize the symbol atop the platform you’re standing on.
4. Carefully walk or jump onto the floating rocks with the same symbol, repeating the process until you reach the end of the room.
5. Open the chest at the end to receive Relic Dust, Hardened Iron, and Scraps.
6. Finally, use Kolket’s Key to unlock the previously locked door. Inside, you’ll discover the Ring of Diversion, along with more Scraps and Relic Dust.
