The first patch after the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion is now live for Cyberpunk 2077, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Patch 2.01 is designed to address common player issues and enhance performance across all platforms.
Marcin Momot, Global Community Director Of CD Projekt Red, expressed gratitude to the users who reported the diverse issues that have been addressed in this patch. The focus of this update is to resolve major issues in Phantom Liberty, notably fixing corrupted save data on PS5 and enhancing performance, especially in the expansion’s Dogtown area.

Major Fixes In Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.01
- Corrects visual distortion from a specific dialogue choice when talking to Johnny in the “Automatic Love” mission.
- Prevents V from falling through the elevator floor during “The Heist” mission with low FPS while heading to the 42nd floor.
- Resolves the UI displaying controller inputs instead of keyboard and mouse inputs.
- Allows smooth switching to arm cyberware when cycling through weapons.
- Ensures proper triggering of the “Breaking News” Gig mission upon approaching the quest area.
- Balances the vehicle radio volume in relation to other in-game sounds.
- Addresses the issue of corrupted saves on PlayStation by increasing the maximum save file size limit. Note: This won’t fix previously corrupted saves; it’s advisable to keep a functional save until applying the 2.01 update.
- Improves performance on both PC and consoles, particularly in the Dogtown area.
