Epic Games Store has confirmed the next two titles that will be free in the upcoming batch. Starting today, Eternal Threads and The Evil Within are available for free till October 26, and following that, two more games – The Evil Within 2 and Tandem: a Tale of Shadows are ready to go up on the shelf.
Tandem: a Tale of Shadows is a puzzle platformer game, while The Evil Within 2 is a superhit survival horror. It is a sequel to the 2014 game – The Evil Within, which is currently among the two free games this week.

The Evil Within 2 is a popular survival horror game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks in 2017. The game continues the story 3 years after the events of its predecessor, 2014’s Evil Within. It features the typical horror game mechanics, as you play as a detective, Sebastian Castellanos who is on a mission to rescue his daughter, Lily. Throughout the game, you will be faced with tense and intense moments to keep you on the edge of your seats.

Tandem: a Tale of Shadows
Tandem: a Tale of Shadows was developed and released by Monochrome Paris in 2021. The game is often considered one of the most unique games in the puzzle genre and offers stunningly beautiful graphics. According to many reviews, it has a clever and short storyline and makes you “feel smart for solving puzzles”.
