Larian has just pushed out a tiny update for Baldur’s Gate 3 in the form of Hotfix 12, which is now live.
According to the developer’s latest Steam post, hotfix 12 for BG3 fixes crashes in certain instances of the game as reported by players. The update fixes a crash that occasionally occurred in certain places when split-screen was activated or a second controller was added.
Some players had also reported facing crashes while speaking to Thisobald Thorm or Cazardor in certain conditions. This has also been resolved in the latest Baldur’s Gate 3 update 4.1.1.4079877.
In their note, Larian devs thanked gamers for reporting the issues and encouraged them to keep bringing such bugs to their attention.
In the comments of the X post announcing the latest hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3, fans lauded the developer for listening to feedback and fixing issues quickly. Some of them took the opportunity to mention the issues they are still facing.
A player said that their game crashed whenever they fast-travel. Someone else pointed out that the radiant circles are bugged on PS5, and yet another player revealed they are facing crashes when they try to load their save files.
Larian is expected to roll out more patches and hotfixes soon to fix recurring bugs before the Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 releases.
