The developer Pocket Pair has just released a new update v0.1.3.0 for Palworld. This patch includes several changes, such as bug fixes and countermeasures against exploits and cheats.
Pocket Pair announced the new patch on Steam. As promised in the Palworld 2024 Roadmap, the developer has addressed various critical issues faced by the players. One can only hope that this means we will soon get new content, such as PvP modes, Crossplay, and new maps, Pals, and dungeons soon.
The Steam update includes following changes and fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the loading screen did not end when logging into the world
- Fixed a bug where the world date was not displayed correctly and appeared to reset.
- Corrected various incorrect text
- Countermeasures against various cheats and exploits.
Regarding countermeasures against cheats and exploits, the developer noted that it had confirmed that some players are cheating in Palworld while playing through official server. They apologized to other players, stating that they will soon release a patch to stop players from cheating.
While stating that they will continue focusing on increasing security, the development team also acknowledged that it is difficult to prevent all instances of cheating from happening at the moment.
Pocket Pair also revealed that the Xbox version will soon get a new update. However, the release date for the upcoming Xbox update v0.1.1.1 remains unannounced.
