Make Sure Minimum System Requirements Are Met
It is possible that your PC doesn’t meet Destiny 2’s minimum system requirements, which results in performance issues. Since your PC can’t handle the game, it ends up crashing and giving you the Broccoli error.
Check if your gaming setup meets these minimum system requirements for Destiny 2:
- OS: Windows 7, 8, or Windows 10 64-bit.
- CPU: Intel Core i3 3250 3.5 GHz, Intel Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz, or AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz.
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB, GTX 1050 2GB, or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB.
- Ram: 6 GB.
- Storage: HDD. SSD recommended.
Update Your Drivers
This error is often caused due to outdated graphics and other device drivers. So if you have been skipping on these updates for a long time, this could very well be the problem.

Reset BIOS To Default
A bad overlock can result in a Broccoli error in Destiny 2. This happens when you try to boost your PC’s performance via the options in your BIOS menu. Make sure nothing is overclocked in your PC, and the easiest way to do this is to rest your BIOS to default settings.
Cap Your Framerate
For some players, using uncapped framerates is the cause for this error. If you have set your frames to uncapped, then set it to something like 100 and it might fix your issue. This was the only solution that worked for me when I faced the Broccoli error.
