In a recent Xbox Japan video promoting Xbox Series S and Game Pass, fans could briefly see the Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 poster. The video was released today and features various additions to the Xbox Game Pass. Although the video did not directly feature the Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, one might guess that the title will make its way to Game Pass soon, though not in May 2023.
The promotional video focuses on Game Pass additions, such as Starfield, Redfall, Ghostwire, Hi-Rush, and Party Animals, and also shows classics like Minecraft Legends. Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is merely teased in the video on the top right corner, as can be seen in the screenshot below.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is likely to join the list of other simulators on the Game Pass
Developed by Red Dot and PlayWay, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is part of a long-running car mechanic simulation series. Xbox is home to other popular simulator games, most notably, Microsoft Flight Simulator. Other fan-favorite simulator games housed on Xbox Game Pass include PowerWash Simulator, Surgeon Simulator 2, Lawn Mowing Simulator, Cooking Simulator, and Farming Simulator 22.
In recent years, hyper-realistic simulator games have gained widespread popularity, owing to their real-life mirroring styles and real-time physics engines.
Like the rest of the simulators, Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 is an extremely realistic game where the players take on the role of a car mechanic. The game features near-real cars with super-realistic engines and auto parts. Players have to check, understand, and fix the problem, just like a real mechanic would.
This increasing fad of simulation games is interesting, with people seemingly spending hours and hours on these titles. Successful titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator have gained widespread publicity, owing to the fact that it’s extremely hard, just like a real flight, and is moderated by expert pilots who take the players through their mistakes, what could they have done to avoid them, and discuss real-life cases.
