Summer Baking Championship Season 1 – Food Network
You can always rely on Food Network to bring you the best cooking shows out there. In another installment of the hit Baking Championship series, the network brings its viewers 10 brilliant bakers from across America to compete for a $25000 cash prize. Throughout several challenges, the bakers will be tested on their skills to create sweet delicacies suitable for the summer months.
With the first two episodes having premiered on May 15, the contestants started the competition by creating doughnuts that looked like pool floaties.

With Lara Jean’s love life having taken care of itself, it’s now her younger sister Kitty’s turn. Following in her sister’s footsteps, she expresses her truest self in letters with her pen pal Dae, who lives all the way in Korea. But Kitty’s love knows no bounds, as she convinces her parents to let her go to Korea to join Dae’s school, which is also, as fate would have it, the school that her late mother attended.
Unfortunately, things don’t quite go her way, as Dae turns out to have – you guessed it – a girlfriend already. So, will Kitty let this heartbreak stop her? Or will life in Korea give her everything she’s ever wanted? Tune in to Netflix this weekend and find out.
XO, Kitty will arrive on Netflix on May 18.
Fast X
It’s the beginning of the end for the Fast & Furious family, so you know you’ve got to hop in for the ride. 2 years after the events of F9, Dominic Toretto is forced to go back to his old ways after an enemy – both old and new – threatens to take away everything he loves.
12 years ago, Fast Five saw Toretto and his crew take out druglord and kingpin Hernan Reyes. Now, in the second last movie of the franchise, Reyes’ son Dante, who witnessed his father’s murder all those years ago, has returned to give Dom a taste of his own medicine and take away – or take out – who he loves most, his 8-year-old son.
Fast X will hit theaters on May 19.
Sanctuary
Take the love out of Fifty Shades of Grey, add a sprinkle or two of revenge and greed, and you’ve got yourself Neon’s Sanctuary.
Hal and Rebecca have a good thing going in their sub-and-dominatrix relationship, until Hal tries to end it for a high-paying job opportunity. Rebecca decides to use their association as leverage to benefit from Hal’s job, and what follows is pure chaos.
What Hal thought was his last night with her ends up becoming the last night of the life he knows. Will he find his ‘sanctuary’ or will he end up becoming a sub again?
Sanctuary will hit theaters on May 19.
Muted Season 1 – Netflix
Most shows and movies can only hope to start their journey with a bang, but Muted gets it done. The trailer starts with a bang – a thump, rather – and just as you begin to understand what just happened, it hits you with another one.
Sergio Ciscar went to prison as a minor after he murdered his parents by pushing them off a balcony. Since then, he has never said a word, to anything or anyone. After he’s released from prison, a psychiatrist recruits a retail worker to go undercover and gain Sergio’s trust to uncover the truth.
Muted, a Spanish psychological thriller, will arrive on Netflix on May 19.
Selling Sunset Season 6 – Netflix
We’re know that all of us watch this as a guilty pleasure, so let’s just take the guilt out of it! Our beloved real estate agents are set to return with new properties and new drama in season 6 of Selling Sunset.
While Heather El Moussa, Christell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Davina Potratz, Emma Hernan, Amanza Smith, and Chelsea Lazkani will make a return this season, the show will also bring along two new faces – Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young.
