So you finally powered up the Interchange in Atomfall and made your way into Oberon. But what comes after you take it down? Rebellion Developments has a few more tricks up its sleeve at the end of its upcoming survival title, with multiple endings possible based on which of its characters you choose to align yourself with.
In this article, we cover all six possible endings in Atomfall, and who you will need to support to unlock it.
Unlocking Every Atomfall Ending

It would be wise to create a save file that you can revisit if you’re trying to unlock each ending in the game quickly for their associated trophies. Once that is done, you can choose any of the game’s endings by following individual characters’ storylines, as listed below.
- The Voice On the Telephone
- Joyce Tanner
- Captain Grant Sims
- Dr. Alan Holder
- Dr. Diane Garrow
- Mother Jago
Ending 1: The Voice On the Telephone
You destroy Oberon based on the instructions of the mysterious man on the phone, pulling a self-destruct lever to strike the plant at its foundations. Achieving this will require you to:
- Make your way through the Windscale Plant, all the way to a room in Oberon in which a sample is being guarded by three B.A.R.D. robots.
- From here, locate the control room and a note that points you toward four explosives you will have to activate.
- Activate the explosives, return to the control room, pull the lever, and make a dash for the exit. Enjoy the fireworks!
With all that out of the way, you will hear from the voice again. Go back to the location he specifies to complete your playthrough with this ending.
Ending 2: Joyce Tanner

Instead of blowing up Oberon altogether, Tanner wishes to preserve a small piece of it to further her own ends. Choosing to help her involves arming the four explosives around Oberon’s control room but holding off on activating them until you complete a few extra steps:
- Locate the lever that activates the rock drill.
- It requires two Atomic Batteries, the first of which is in a nearby corridor just down from the control room, while the other can be looted from one of the B.A.R.D. robots from earlier.
- I found using grenades and hitting the canister on its back most effective in making short work of it.
- Use both Atomic Batteries at the power station behind the control room, pull the lever to begin extraction, and collect the sample from the grinder.
With the sample in your possession, meet Datastone Charlie who provides you with a set of coordinates to visit to cap off this ending.
Ending 3: Captain Grant Sims
Perhaps one of Atomfall’s more memorable endings, siding with the Captain has the same process to activate it as the Voice on the Telephone ending with one crucial difference. You simply head on over to the Captain’s location once you force Oberon to self-destruct after rigging the explosives around its foundations.

You will need to travel to Wyndham to find a note from the Captain at the Village Hall. It reveals his camp’s location which you can then visit to trigger this ending.
Ending 4: Dr. Alan Holder
You will need to go off the beaten track for this one, as even meeting Dr, Holder is no easy task. He is found in Wyndham under the St. Katherine’s Church in a secret lab in the basement. Note that assisting him essentially locks you out of another ending for Atomfall. Following his questline and getting to Oberon will need the below steps to be checked off to unlock his ending.
- Pull levels on both Fire Safety Valves that you can find around Oberon’s dig site.
- Next, insert the Poisoned Sample you obtained during his questline at the Fire Safety Fluid Input which is located in the crater to the left of the control room.
- Pull the lever inside the control room to poison Oberon with a green fog.
Returning to the Interchange’s main room, you hear Holder over the intercom guiding you to where you need to go. Head on to his location and the ending’s yours.
Ending 5: Dr. Diane Garrow

Atomfall players following Dr. Holder’s questline come into contact with Dr. Diane Garrow, another survivor of the cataclysmic events of the past with a hidden agenda you could support.
Garrow does not wish to see Oberon destroyed but would like a sample of the meteorite that started it all. You can achieve this by following all the steps in the Joyce Tanner ending except pulling the self-destruct lever on Oberon.
Simply bring the sample back to her office down in Robotics where you unlock a very informative ending to Atomfall. This is among the more lore-heavy conclusions to Atomfall, making it a good idea to spare Dr. Garrow on your first playthrough before throwing in your lot with Holder at a later time.
Ending 6: Mother Jago
Mother Jago’s Growth Serum, which you obtain as a part of her questline, is the key to unlocking this Atomfall ending, with a series of steps similar to Dr. Holder’s conclusion. However, instead of using a Poisoned Sample at the Fire Safety Fluid Input, you add the Growth Serum.

Returning to the cave under Druid’s Castle that Mother Jago calls home to unlock an ending that you may not have expected. You may want to save this one for last although it is a perfectly viable conclusion to Atomfall’s incredible main campaign.
That’s every possible ending you can obtain in Atomfall. Stay tuned for more on Rebeliion’s latest outing, and any help you may need with it.
