A new update for Battlefield 2042, titled ‘Elite Edition’, is set to release on May 26, 2023, according to a new leak.
The game had a rough start, as the launch version that was released on November 19, 2021, was riddled with various bugs and visual glitches. Developers of the game, Electronic Arts and DICE, fixed many of these errors in the seasons that followed the launch version, with the latest being season 4 that was released in February 2023. According to the developers, this marks the end of Year One upgrades for the game. Season 5, launching in June 2023, will mark the beginning of Year Two upgrades for Battlefield 2042.
