Augusta is a powerful 5-star Electro DPS unit who received her first banner alongside Wuthering Waves version 2.6 update. She is a very strong character who can deal consistent Electro DPS, can sustain herself in battle, and has the ability to stop time.
While she is reliant on her best-in-slot weapon for optimal DPS, if you’re lacking an Electro unit, I recommend that you invest in Augusta. The good part about the character is that she isn’t too complex either, and even new players will be able to make the most out of her. Her build is also pretty straightforward, though her level-up materials can only be found in end-game areas.
Best Augusta Build In Wuthering Waves

Augusta is a very powerful unit, but similar to Phrolova’s best build in Wuthering Waves, she is reliant on her best weapons and Echoes to deal high damage. While being straightforward makes the build easier, you still need to invest a considerable amount of wishes and resources to make Augusta ready for the endgame. The best possible build for Augusta has been listed in the following table.
| Build Elements | Recommendations |
|---|---|
| Best Weapon | Thunderflare Dominion |
| Best Echo | The False Sovereign |
| Best Echo Set | Crown of Valor and Void Thunder |
| Cost 4 | Crit Rate or Crit DMG |
| Cost 3 | Electro DMG Bonus |
| Cost 1 | ATK% |
I would recommend that you try and maintain about 120% Energy Regen so that you can recharge her Ultimate ability as quickly as possible. You can also consider using ATK% for her Cost 3 Echo, although it performs slightly worse than Electro DMG Bonus. In terms of substats, aim to prioritize Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and ATK%.
Best Weapon For Augusta In Wuthering Waves

The best weapon for Augusta that you can use is Thunderflare Dominion, which is her signature option. This weapon synergizes best with her kit and increases her damage output quite significantly. However, you have a few other options, such as Verdant Summit and Ages of Harvest, though both of them are weaker than her best-in-slot weapon.
| Best Weapon | Synergy With Augusta |
|---|---|
| Thunderflare Dominion | This is the best in slot weapon for Augusta, and it boasts high Base ATK and Crit Rate secondary stat. Additionally, it also increases the ATK and Heavy ATK DMG for Augusta when the weapon is equipped. You receive an additional Heavy ATK DMG Bonus upon receiving a shield. |
| Verdant Summit | This is a decent alternative for Augusta as it comes with Crit DMG substats. Additionally, it increases the DMG Bonus and Heavy ATK Bonus of Augusta quite a bit. |
| Ages of Harvest | This weapon comes with high Base Attack and Crit Rate substats. It increases the Attribute Bonus of the Augusta, which in this case is Electro. It also increases the Resonance Skill DMG of the equipped character. |
While I personally recommend that you use Thunderflare Dominion, if you want, Verdant Summit is the closest alternative. This is because she needs Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, and these are the only two weapons that enhance the attribute. Ages of Harvest helps increase Skill damage, which is still good, especially when combined with the Crit Rate bonus, but it’s significantly lower than the other two choices.
Best Echoes For Augusta In Wuthering Waves

Augusta needs Echoes that can synergize with her kit, and the best option you have is Crown of Valor. One of Augusta’s biggest strengths is the ability to generate a shield for herself, and the Crown of Valor is the only one that capitalizes on that. However, Crown of Valor is a 3-piece Echo, so you need to pair it with 2 pieces of Void Thunder.
| Main Echo and Sets | Stat Bonus |
|---|---|
| The False Sovereign | This is the best main Echo for Augusta as it provides Heavy ATK Bonus and increases her Electro DMG Bonus. |
| Crown of Valor (3-pc) | The equipped character’s ATK and Crit DMG is increased whenever they gain a shield. |
| Void Thunder (2-pc) | Electro DMG Bonus is increased by 10%. |
The False Sovereign is the best option to go for, but if you don’t have a good one, I would suggest going for Thundering Mephis for the time being. Thundering Mephis comes with Void Thunder, which means you’ll have to fill the other slots with Crown of Valor.
Augusta Kit Explained In Wuthering Waves

Augusta is a very straightforward character, as she is a frontline on-field DPS who can deal a lot of damage and sustain herself. However, while she is easy to play, her kit is arguably one of the most complicated in the game. The good part is that, unlike other Heavy Attack units, he doesn’t feel slow and sluggish to play.
Augusta has three Forte Circuits, which is unlike any other character in the game, who only has one. There is a Purple Bar, a Golden Circle, and a Red Bar. Your objective is to fill up each of these Forte Circuits, which trigger different aspects of her kit.
Your objective when playing Augusta is to fill up her Golden Circle, which will trigger her Forte and thereby allow you to use her Time Stop Resonance Liberation. For starters, you can use her Normal Attack combo, followed by her Enhanced Heavy Attack combo, Basic Resonance Skill, and the first Resonance Liberation. All four of these will fill up her golden circle.
Once the Golden Circle is filled up, her Resonance Skill is enhanced, which you can tap three times to fill up her red bar once. The Red Bar once filled up, Augusta can unleash her Time Freeze Resonance Liberation that will pretty much freeze everything in the game, while she deals massive Electro damage to enemies.
The good part about Augusta is that half of her Red Bar is already filled up if you perform the Outro Skills of other characters and then switch to her. This means you only have to fill up Augusta’s Golden Circle once to get a second Red Bar and unleash the Time Freeze Resonance Liberation. Additionally, unlike Phrolova’s Best Team, Augusta has a lot of options available in Wuthering Waves.
