Rocksteady’s award-winning Batman: Arkham Trilogy is finally coming to Nintendo Switch.
Rumors of the celebrated trilogy’s Switch version were floating around for some time and the official announcement came during the Nintendo Direct Showcase 2023. All three games in the Batman: Arkham Trilogy—Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight—will be coming to Nintendo Switch in the fall of 2023.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch is the definitive edition that includes three base games as well as all their DLCs. Arkham City was the only Batman game by Rocksteady that had been previously featured on a Nintendo console when it was released as a special edition for Nintendo Wii. The Switch port for the trilogy is being developed by an indie studio called Turn Me Up Games.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy features multiple iconic Batman foes
The impressive trailer for the combined Batman: Arkham Trilogy featured many familiar faces – both allies and foes of Batman. Characters like Commissioner Gordon, Joker, Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer Croc, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, and many more graced the trailer. The entire trailer is cinematic, without any gameplay footage. If all the DLCs are included in the Switch version, players will also get a chance to unlock several Batman allies, like Batgirl, Nightwing, and Robin as playable characters.
While Nintendo is yet to announce an official date for the Batman: Arkham Trilogy release, you can add the games to your wishlist on Nintendo eShop.
