Just like anime TV series, anime movies also carry a great deal of fascination and excitement among fans. Movies belonging to a franchise especially hold more gravitas in having a higher success rate at the box office than independent projects. Yet, anime movies offer a good escape from the long continuity of following a long or short series.
This year is going to have several exciting anime movie releases that fans can look forward to. While films like Suzume no Tojimari by Makoto Shinkai saw its release in 2022, the rest of the world is going to see the movie’s premiere this year. On the other hand, movies like Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which is part of Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover anime and manga franchise, will have an international release this summer, which means fans all around the globe can see it at the same time (keeping in mind the varying time zones).
