Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 boasted a host of renowned voice actors from the Japanese entertainment industry. However, given the amount of death that the dark fantasy series is known for, you may assume that the cast for season 2 might look significantly different (no spoilers here).
Voice Actors Of The Prominent Characters In Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1
Yuuji Itadori (Junya Enoki)
The main character of Jujutsu Kaisen is voiced by Junya Enoki. His major roles include Takeru Takaishi (Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning), Nasa Yuzuki (Tonikaku Kawaii), Seishuu Inui (Tokyo Revengers), Senjurou Rengoku (Demon Slayer), Shousuke Komi (Komi Can’t Communicate), etc. He will be next heard in MAPPA’s Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Koujou as Kikuiri Masamune.
Megumi Fushiguro (Yuma Uchida)
Uchida is famously known for portraying Kyou Sohma in Fruits Basket and Aslan Jade Callenreese in Banana Fish. Aside from that, he has been heard as Ritsuka Uenoyama (Given), Kawaki (Boruto), Iori Kitahara (Grand Blue), Reo Mikage (Blue Lock), Ginshi Shirazu (Tokyo Ghoul:re), and many more.
Nobara Kugisaki (Asami Seto)
Besides Nobara Kugisaki, Seto has been been heard as Mai Sakurajima in the Rascal Does Not Dream franchise, the female lead in Horimiya, Rapthilia in The Rising of the Shield Hero series, Chihaya Ayase in Chihayafuru, and “Black Haired Woman” in Death Parade. As of now, these have been her most prominent roles.
Satoru Gojo (Yuichi Nakamura)
Veteran actor Yuichi Nakamura’s portrayal of Gojo may have been his most famous role yet, but he also been admired by fans for roles like Hotaro Oreki (Hyouka), Tomoya Okazaku (Clannad), Gray Fullbuster (Fairy Tail), Tetsuro Kuroo (Haikyu!!), Tatsuya Shiba (The Irregular at Magic High School), and Bruno Bucciarati (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure), among others.
Ryomen Sukuna (Junichi Suwabe)
Another popular name in the Japanese entertainment industry, Suwabe’s deep and sensual voice has been lent to voice characters like Yami Sukehiro (Black Clover), Daiki Aomine (Kuroko no Basket), Shouta Aizawa (My Hero Academia), Grimmjow Jaegarjaquez (Bleach), Viktor Nikiforov (Yuri!! on Ice), Archer (Fate/Grand Order), Lord Tensen (Hell’s Paradise), Undertaker (Black Butler), etc.
Kento Nanami (Kenjirou Tsuda)
More than the characters, it is Tsuda’s voice that has established himself as a veteran voice actor in the Japanese voice acting landscape. From being heard as Seto Kaiba (YuGiOh!) to Tatsu in (The Way of the Househusband), Tsuda has been a popular choice. His other credits include Kai Chisaki in My Hero Academia, Kishibe in Chainsaw Man, Hyakunosuke Ogata in Golden Kamuy, and Mikoto Suou in the K franchise, among several many.
Mahito (Nobunaga Shimazaki)
Fans of One Piece may recognise Shimazaki from Shanks, the legendary captain of the Red Haired Pirates. He has also been seen in prominent roles as Shinichi Izumi (Parasyte), the eccentric Shun Kaidou (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K), Haruka Nanase (Free!), Yuki Sohma (Fruits Basket), Yuno (Black Clover), Seishirou Nagi (Blue Lock), and the titular protagonist of Baki and Hanma Baki.
Maki Zenin (Mikako Komatsu)
Komatsu’s major break as a main protagonist may be with Senku Ishigami from Dr. Stone. She is also heard as Seishirou Tsugumi in Nisekoi, Saika Totsuka in My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Isumi Shimomura in Ajin, and Rebecca Bluegarden in Eden’s Zero.
Panda (Tomokazu Seki)
Apart from lending his voice to Gilgamesh in the Fate series, Seki has been popular for incredible portrayal of Koro-sensei in Assassination Classroom. He has also been heard as Shinya Kougami in Psycho-Pass, Sousuke Sagara in Full Metal Panic!, Enrico Pucci in the sixth part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Itaru Hashida in Steins; Gate.
Toge Inumaki (Kouki Uchiyama)
Uchiyama is yet another popular voice actor who has been heard as Mereum (Hunter x Hunter), Izumi Miyamura (Horimiya), Kei Tsukishima (Haikyu!!), Soul Eater Evans (Soul Eater), Yuri Plisetsky (Yuri!! On Ice), Tomura Shigaraki (My Hero Academia), Raku Ichijou (Nisekoi), Ikuya Kirishima (Free!), Gin (Hotarubi no Mori e), and Yuu Otosaka (Charlotte).
Shoko Ieri (Aya Endo)
Endo has also given voice to Gilgamesh in the Fate series. Besides that, she has donned the roles of Komigu (Hunter x Hunter), Saki Watanabe (Shinsekai Yori), Sheryl Nome (Macross), and Cattleya Baudelaire (Violet Evergarden), among others.
Suguru Geto and Kenjaku/Pseudo-Geto (Takahiro Sakurai)
Sakurai’s one of the most beloved roles include Arataka Reigen from Mob Psycho 100 and Giyu Tomioka from Demon Slayer. Given he can portray diverse range of characters, Sakurai has also been heard as Griffith (Berserk), Kishibe Rohan (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4 and Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan), Kusuriuri (Mononoke), Shougo Makishima (Psycho-Pass), Suzaku Kururugi (Code Geass), Uta (Tokyo Ghoul), etc.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2
The upcoming season of Jujutsu Kaisen will be divided into two arcs – Gojo’s Past arc and Shibuya Incident arc. As such, the two arcs will happen at two separate points in time and will consist of a different set of characters and voice actors.
Aside from Satoru Gojo, Suguru Geto, Shoko Ieri as the main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, the cast will also include the main antagonist of this season, Toji Fushiguro (Megumi’s father), and Riko Amanai. The second cour of the anime series will see many characters returning, which means several voice actors from season 1 will reprise their roles.
Toji Fushiguro’s character will be voiced by popular voice actor Takehito Koyaso. He has earlier been heard in roles such as Zeke Yeager (Attack on Titan), Shigeru Aoba (Neon Genesis Evangelion), Adam (Sk8 the Infinity), and Dio Brando (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), among others.
Meanwhile, voice actor Anna Nagase will be lending her voice to Star Plasma Vessel of Master Tengen, Riko Amanai. She was earlier heard as Ushio Kofune in Summertime Render, Himeno Tsumugi in Mou Ippon!, Hack in Yuri Deco, etc.
The second arc of the Jujutsu Kaisen will return back to the present timeline, which will see the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Yuta Okkotsu, returning. He will be voiced by Megumi Ogata. As for his curse, Rika Orimoto, it will be voiced by Kana Hanazawa.
Choso and Misato Kuroi will also be seen as supporting characters across two seasons. While Choso will be voiced by Daisuke Namikawa, who is known for his roles as Toru Oikawa (Haikyu!!), Jack the Ripper (Black Clover), Momoshiki Otsutsuki (Boruto), Hisoka Morrow (Hunter x Hunter), etc., Misato Kuroi’s voice actor is yet to be revealed.
The upcoming season will also see many new faces, but the voice actors of those characters are yet to be shared by MAPPA.
