All of a sudden, the latest arc in One Piece has decided to bring back old characters from the past arcs. The latest addition of characters brings back the Giants from Little Garden and Enies Lobby. Here is a quick recap about Oimo and Kashii as they make a sudden comeback.
Oimo And Kashii Are Friends From The Past
Oimo and Kashii, the duo giants, are straw hats friends who made their first appearance during the Enneis Lobby arc serving as the guards for Enneis Lobby. They had a very small role in that arc but with a very deep history of the Giants.
Oimo and Kashii were members of the Giant Warrior Pirates, with Dorry and Brogy as the co-captains of the crew. The Giant Warrior Pirates disbanded when the Dorry and Brogy began dueling, which led to other giants returning to their homeland, Elbaf.
Around half a century after Dorry and Brogy’s duel started (which still did not come to an end), two giants named Oimo and Kashii from the Giant Warrior Pirates set out to the sea in hopes of getting their captains back. However, they were soon captured by the Marines on this venture.
The Marines also lied to Oimo and Kashii about having captured Dorry and Brogy. They promised the two giants that they would free their captains if they worked as guards at Enneis Lobby.
Kashii and Oimo finally learned the truth about their captains from Ussop during the Enneis Lobby arc which also led to friendship between the giants. Oimo and Kashii helped straw hats get past the gate of Enneis Lobby, assisting them in freeing Robin.
After the Enneis Lobby incident, the two giants decided to go back out to Elbaf instead of going to find their captains. One Piece Chapter 1107 sees the return of Oimo and Kashii alongside the Giant Warrior Pirates, which includes some other additional giants as well.
