Bunk beds might be fun for a day or two while you’re out venturing in the vast universe, but spending your nights sleeping in those metal frames might not be the ideal situation while on land. For all you homebodies out there, several Starfield player houses are available to buy in major cities of the game. All you need are some credits and you’ll get a shiny new place to call home.

Here are all the Starfield player houses you can buy or rent in the game.

Starfield Player Houses: Location, price, and everything you need to know

The Lodge Room

  • Location – The Lodge in New Atlantis
  • Price – Free

Located inside The Lodge in New Atlantis, The Lodge room is a free player home you can acquire after joining the Constellation. After you have completed a few Constellation missions in the game, you can go talk to Noelle and ask her to give you a small tour. She will offer you a free room in the Constellation headquarters and show you the bed and storage area.

The beds are essential for restoring health, and the Lodge room contains a safe locker that has unlimited storage space for all your precious resources.

Parents’ House

Only one catch, You will have to send 2% of your paycheck back home for your parents’ living expenses each week.

Mercury Tower Penthouse

  • Location – New Atlantis
  • Price – Free

The Mercury Tower Penthouse is one of the biggest Starfield player houses you can get for absolutely zero cost. This spacious home can be used for decorations, setting up various workbenches, and your own warehouse for all the countless loot you’re probably hoarding.

To get the penthouse, you need to become a United Colonies Vanguard by passing their Vanguard exams and completing various missions for them. Once they deem you truly loyal to the United Colonies, you will be awarded the Mercury Tower penthouse.

The Well Apartment

Although located in quite the shady part of New Atlantis, the Well Apartment offers a pretty big space for only 30,000 Credits. It has a Trade Authority outpost within walking distance, as well as other useful stores in the vicinity.

To get this apartment, you need to become a citizen of the United Colonies and complete a few quests. Then simply go to the Aphelion Realty to buy or rent the Well Apartment.

Sleep Crate

  • Location – Neon
  • Price – 6500 Credits

The Sleep Crate in Neon might look small and not have much space to offer, but it does have a decent bed and storage for a temporary base till your next space adventure. At the low cost of 6500 Credits, you can get this place by talking to the Sleep Crate vendor located near Ebbside.

The storage in Sleep Crate might be the best location to store contraband items like the drug Aurora.

Sky Suite

  • Location – Neon
  • Price – 235,000 Credits

The Sky Suite in Neon can be considered to be the most expensive Starfield player house. Located amongst the hustle and bustle of Neon, you are certainly paying a hefty amount for this prime location. This one-bedroom apartment can be customized and decorated to suit your aesthetics in the game.

To get the place, talk to Boone the Bartender, in Astral Lounge near the Trade Tower.

Nesoi Dream Home

  • Location – Nesoi in Olympus Star System
  • Price – 125,000 Credits

You can only purchase this house if you select the “Dream Home” trait as one of the main three traits during character customization. After you have 125,000 Credits to your name, go and talk to the clerk working in New Atlantis’ Galbank and purchase this massive residence. The Dream Home can also be rented for 500 Credits each week.

This residence is so big that you could put down workbenches, add storage, add beds, and even ask your parents to move into this gorgeous place and not run out of space for other decors.

Stretch House

  • Location – Akila City
  • Price – 45,000 Credits

The Stretch House is another one of those “rough around the edge” houses situated in a prime location. This 45,000 Credit apartment can be bought from Ngodup Tate, an Akila City real estate agent. He is often found standing near the Core Manor.

As its name suggests, the Stretch House is one big space divided into smaller rooms by partitions. You can use this place as storage for Akila City resources.

Core Manor

  • Location – Akila City
  • Price – 78,000 Credits

The Core Manor resides in the nicer part of Akila City and is quite spacious despite its outer appearance in Starfield. To get to the manor, travel to the south of The Rock and walk past the Lance Estate and the Freestar Collective Consulate.

You will find Ngodup Tate standing outside the Core Manor who can sell you this rustic-looking place for 78,000 Credits.

If you’re not satisfied with the choices or lack the funds for these expensive housing options, try our outpost guide instead!
