Roblox’s Arise Crossover is a fun way to engage with your favorite Shadows from the Solo Levelling anime with its addictive raid-based gameplay loop. However, you may find that the Shadows you have managed to collect so far are simply not up to the task of higher-ranked dungeons.
Upgrading Shadows using the rewards you earn from your raids is an important part of Arise Crossover’s experience. We take a look here at how to go about doing exactly just that.
How To Upgrade Shadows

An easy way to level up Shadows in Arise Crossover is to take them on Solo Runs against bosses. Not only does this grant them all the XP that they need, but they can also take on bigger bosses with their rapidly increasing stats and potentially be your go-to Shadow for harder dungeons.
Some inventory management is also helpful. Ensure that you consistently destroy lower-level shadows that you don’t need to obtain gems continuously. It pays to hold on to Tickets that you obtain from defeating high-level bosses, and spend on upgrading your favorite Shadows.
Once you have enough copies of your favorite Shadow, you can spend gems and Tickets to level it up outside of combat. It’s quite easy to get a Shadow to SS-rank if you focus all resources earned towards getting it there before moving on to the next one. Find the right NPC near your spawn point to get started.
When using the Shadow Upgrader, keep in mind that you must select the same Shadow for each rank to be able to upgrade it to the next highest rank.
What Are Shadows In Arise Crossover?

Shadows are the bread and butter of the game’s combat system and are collected from enemies that you defeat on your adventures. Once an enemy is down, you can either “Arise” it to earn it as a playable Shadow, or “Destroy” it as a way to earn gems which you will need when upgrading your Shadows.
It pays to stay ahead of your collection of Shadows and plan out the ones you want to use in the early stages of Arise Crossover. While you could always farm out gems and Tickets, the other resource you will need for each upgrade, upgrading your favorite ones from the lowest E-Rank to that coveted SS-Rank or even G-Rank could be an upward challenge.
If your SS-ranked Shadows are not getting things done, the Dedu Island event might be a good place to take them for a battle against the Ant King.
