Inspired by the adrenaline-filled anime Blue Lock, Blue Lock Rivals is a Roblox Experience that takes you through high-intensity matches in the game. Staying true to the anime, the creators behind Blue Lock Rivals have decided to introduce “Chemical Reactions” in the game. Here’s a guide to what these reactions are and how you can create combinations for powerful moments during the match.
Chemical Reactions in Blue Lock Rivals
While not all chemical reactions in this Roblox experience are known, here’s a list of some popular combos that work well on the field.
Shidou x Sae
Just like in the anime, this Sae and Shidou can create one of the most powerful chemical reactions in the game. Together, they can turn the tide of any match in their favor. Before the match begins, you and your friend can swap one of your slots to either Shidou or Sae using the Lucky Spins. The odds of getting either of them are unpredictable, as Shidou is a Mythic Spin, while Sae is a World Class Spin.
Make sure you can get your friends to stick together in the matches and are playing in perfect sync. Start the match with the Sae player doing a Perfect Pass move on you. This will make the ball come at you with increased force and speed, after which you will have to use the Dragon Drive move on it. Timing and coordination are key to making this shot work.
Following this, you might go up in the sky and kick the perfect goal. If any opposing team players try to take the ball, use Sae’s Magical Turn ability to move away quickly while stunning them.
Sometimes, despite the powerful Dragon Drive & Magical Turn move, you might not end up getting the goal. To prevent this, choose the perfect area to kick the ball from. Aim well and at enough distance from the net.
Nel Isagi x Kurona
Much like Sae, Nel Isagi is a world-class spin, making his style extremely rare and difficult to get. Once you manage to unlock it, the effort will be well worth it. Have one player take on the role of Nel Isagi and the other as Kurona. Start the match and focus on awakening your characters as quickly as possible. Keep an eye on the Awakening count and use it when it pops up.
After you’ve awakened, take the ball and aim it at your friend who’s playing as Nel Isagi. This character is quick, and with help from Kurona, they become completely OP. Once you’ve locked Nel Isagi as your target, press the Planet Hotline move followed by the One Two move to quickly move with him. Press Planet Hotline once again and keep following the ball until all cooldowns are complete.
After they’re full again, you should be able to use the One-Two move without any cooldowns. This will give you more power during the match, especially if you use your flow wisely. Keep in mind that other abilities like Shark Steal may not have this effect.
King x Don Lorenzo
This is a newer chemical reaction that’s tough to unlock, but once you do, it’s incredibly strong on the field. Don Lorenzo was the core and main defender of his team in the anime for a reason. While he’s already strong on his own, Lorenzo truly shines when paired with a powerful teammate like King. He can deliver smooth passes to King, who’s known for being one of the best strikers in the game. His shooting range gives him the ability to score from anywhere on the field.
Lorenzo is good at stealing the ball from other players and giving it to King using his Zombie Dribble move. On top of that, he can shut down any incoming shots using his Golden Defense ability. Use King’s Impact move after getting the ball from Lorenzo to score a goal. If you’re being cornered or closely followed by the opposing team, use the King’s Dribble ability to break free and create the perfect angle for a shot on the net.
Just like their personalities that are cold and shallow, King’s and Lorenzo’s playing styles complement each other well, making them a combo worth grinding for.
