Lauma is a very powerful 5-star Dendro support in Genshin Impact who primarily replaces Nahida in Dendro teams. She revolves around amplifying the Bloom and Hyperbloom reactions in a party, and thereby massively increasing the damage output for her team.
While she is extremely strong, she is also restrictive when it comes to the kind of teams that she usually functions in. You need Dendro and Hydro units to trigger the Bloom and Hyperbloom reactions, and there aren’t many units that can do that optimally. However, if you manage to assemble the correct teams, Lauma will single-handedly carry you through endgame content.
Lauma Premium Team In Genshin Impact

Lauma’s Premium Team comprises Nahida, Nilou, and Kokomi. This team revolves around consistently generating Dendro Cores and exploding them to deal massive AoE damage. The characters and the roles they play in this team are as follows.
Character | Role |
---|---|
Nilou | Enabler |
Nahida | Support |
Lauma | Support |
Kokomi | Healer |
There’s no outright DPS in this game as the purpose of Nilou here is to apply Hydro and generate the Dendro cores. She is the best unit in the game for Bloom teams, and you must have her to make the most out of the Bloom damage. Nahida will function as a Support as she has a pretty good Dendro application, and her Ultimate ability increases the Elemental Mastery of the team.
Lauma is the primary support for this team as she will amplify the Bloom reactions using her Elemental Burst and passives. Make sure you have the best build for Lauma ready so that her damage is as optimal as possible. You’ll need Kokomi in this team as the Dendro Core explosions deal a lot of self-damage, and the entire party needs to be alive to clear the end-game content.
Lauma General Team In Genshin Impact

Lauma’s General Team is comprised of Alhaitham, Yelan, and Kokomi. This team isn’t too different from the Premium one, but the introduction of Alhaitham and Yelan changes the dynamics of how it’s played. The characters and the roles they play have been listed in the following table.
Character | Roles |
---|---|
Lauma | Support |
Alhaitham | DPS |
Yelan | Support |
Kokomi | Healer |
This is also a Bloom team, but this time, you have Alhaitham and Yelan who deal more front-end damage apart from triggering the Bloom reaction. Alhaitham can deal massive damage as he is an on-field DPS, though he can be a bit tricky to play due to a complicated kit. Yelan synergizes very well with Alhaitham as her Ultimate can deal coordinated damage while also triggering Dendro Cores.
Lauma’s role doesn’t change much here as she will be the primary support amplifying the Bloom reactions in the team. Finally, Kokomi is the primary healer for the team, as you still need her to keep the party alive, not just from enemies, but also self-damage inflicted due to exploding Dendro cores. She is also a powerful Hydro applier in this team from her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.
Lauma F2P Team In Genshin Impact

The best F2P units to pair alongside Lauma are Thoma, Xingqiu, and Yaoyao. This is a Burgeon team, and probably the only F2P composition you can assemble for Lauma. Similar to the best team for Ineffa, Lauma doesn’t have many good F2P options. The character and the roles they play in the team are listed in the following table.
Character | Role |
---|---|
Lauma | Support |
Xingqiu | Support |
Thoma | Enabler |
Yaoyao | Healer |
Lauma will play as the support here, and she will have to do a lot of hard carry by buffing the damage of the Bloom cores. Xingqiu will help with the Hydro application and thereby generate the Dendro Cores for the entire party. He also provides damage resistance, which is quite valuable in endgame content.
Thoma is the Burgeon enabler in this team, as he will trigger Pyro on the Dendro Cores. Finally, Yaoyao is a very important addition to this team as she can apply Dendro, generate the Dendro Cores, and also heal the entire party. Yaoyao’s healing is very powerful and is essential since Burgeon can deal a lot of self-damage in Genshin Impact.
