Getting The Password For Esquie’s Nest

To progress in Esquie’s Nest, you will initially have to get the password from Golgra in Grestral Village. Here is how to do that:
- Make your way to the Chief’s Hut in Gestral Village and speak with Golgra to learn about the Tournament.
- Next, talk to Limonsol at the Arena entrance and get yourself registered for the Tournament.
- There are four opponents that you have to defeat. I recommend that you be at least level 15 to make these fights less of a hassle. Remember to talk to Limonsol every time you defeat an opponent to progress.
- Chief Golgra will give you the password after you are through with the opponents.
After obtaining the password, you can carry on to Esquie’s Nest and start your journey!
#1 Colour of Lumina

You get your first collectible from Esquie’s Nest by going under the small cave opposite the Entrance Flag.
#2 Mushroom (Quest Item)

Move to the right side of the Entrance Flag, there is a bridge that leads upwards, guarded by Sunniso, a Gestral. This is where the password you got from Chef Golgra comes in handy! Once you give him the password and you progress through this bridge, you will emerge from the cave into an open area with an open pond on the right side, with a mime standing on it. Drop into the pond and head to the right edge, where you’ll find your second collectible nestled among some mushrooms.
Once you get this item, take this Mushroom back to Karatom in Gestral Village for a new outfit!
#3 Baguette Outfit & Hair (Sciel)

To get this collectible, you must defeat the Mime you found in the pond. Once you do, you will get Mime’s outfit, with red berets and a black and white striped shirt!
#4 Colour of Lumina x2, Polished Chroma Catalyst x5, Recoat

The location of these items is close to the last one. Go through the bridge from the Entrance Flag, instead of dropping off to the right into the pond, drop to the left. You will see a “Petank”. This looks like a broken ball with legs and a glowing gold sphere in the middle. Once you defeat the Petank, you’ll get these items as battle loot. Be quick though, as the Petank tries to run away as you get closer, and you have to defeat it before it escapes!
Recoat allows you to reset stat and attribute points, and Polished Chroma Catalyst is used to upgrade weapons to Level 9.
#5 Augmented First Strike Picto

To get this Picto, you must defeat François. To reach François, start by crossing the bridge from the entrance and heading straight. You’ll arrive at an open area with a staircase—climb it to trigger a cutscene with Esquie herself. After the scene, you’ll be facing an open area with a nearby resting spot. And yes, that’s where François awaits. Defeat him to claim your fifth collectible!
Augmented First Strike gives you 50% increased damage on the first hit. If you’re trying to end a fight quickly, this is for you!
#6 Colour of Lumina

From the entrance to François’ boss fight, make a U-turn to the right and look for a grapple point. After grappling up, continue straight. After the small cave, you’ll emerge at a ledge overlooking an open area with a pillar below. The Colour of Lumina rests on top of that pillar—just jump down to grab it.
#7 Expedition 66 Journal

During your interaction with Esquie, she’ll knock over a pillar—grapple across it and continue straight. Soon, you’ll reach a path branching off to the right between two statues. Follow and you’ll find a camp, where the Journal of Expedition 66 is located!
#8 Energising Start III Picto

Just like with the last collectible, start by using the grapple point on the pillar Esquie knocked over. This time, though, skip the right path and continue straight until you reach the end. There, you’ll find another grapple point—use it to cross to the other side, then keep heading straight until you spot the Picto.
The Energising Start III is an excellent support option, boosting the character’s health by 320 and granting +1 Action Point at the start of each battle. Equipping it can significantly enhance your party’s combat effectiveness by offering a strong early advantage through increased survivability and faster ability usage!
