Each boss in Core Keeper has a particular method for summoning. You will encounter some bosses naturally during your gameplay progression whereas some by the placement of specific Boss-Summoning items in a specific area. After defeating a boss, you will be rewarded with randomized loot, such as armor, accessories, weapons, and materials. You can farm the bosses to get specific loot items.

1. Glurch the Abominous Mass
You will find Glurch the Abominous Mass as your very first encounter in Core Keeper. It is a giant, orange-colored slime found within the undergrounds, precisely 65 titles from the core covered in slime.
You will hear a loud thumping sound and your screen will start to shake when Glurch is nearby. After defeating this giant you can re-summon it by placing a Giant Slime Summoning Idol on their rune.
Attacks
Glurch will quickly leap towards you and will attack you. It will try to damage you by squishing its target by bouncing. Glurch deals about 50 damage per hit and becomes enraged when its health declines to 30% while increasing its attack intensity on the player.

2. Ghorm the Devourer
Ghorm the Devourer can be found around the Clay Caves and the Forgotten Ruins. It is a giant larva that travels in a circle and doesn’t stay in one place. It roams around the entire map, making it difficult for pinpointing its exact location.
Attacks
If you decide to get into Ghorm’s way, it will eventually try to harm you. Ghorm will enrage at 80% health and will start targeting you with higher force.

3. King Slime
King Slime in Core Keeper is a boss from the crossover update with Terraria. It is a giant blue slime that can be summoned by placing a Crown Summoning Idol on any Slime Summoning Rune – Glurch, Ivy, or Morpha. You can easily access these items by killing slime-type enemies.
Attacks
Attacking King Slime is tricky as it will leap towards you, damaging wherever it will land. It shares a similar attack pattern as of other slime bosses in Core Keeper. For every 700 health the slime losses it will summon one Royal Slime, so you better watch out for that.

4. The Hive Mother
It is a large mass found at the center of a Larva Hive Biome. You will sense its presence once you enter a large open space in the biome. The Hive Mother is a stationary Boss, which summons larvae that can fill its surroundings very quickly. You need to strategies and be alert in the battleground otherwise the large amount of larvae might result in your quick death.
Attacks
The Hive Mother will spew acid in your direction. It will also summon Big Red and Red Larvae. You will experience its whole wrath when its health reduces to 60%.

5. Malugaz the Corrupted
You will find Malugaz the Corrupted in the Throne Room within Forgotten Ruins. It is a large caveling shaman who appears as an armored hooded being with spiked shoulders.
In the Throne Room, place the skull of the corrupted shaman at the center to summon Malugaz. One of the most important things is fighting this boss is optional and won’t affect your gameplay progression even if you decide to skip the battle.
Attacks
The Malugaz has two phases unlike other bosses from Terrarria. In the first phase it will alternate between two attacks:
- Throwing two or three fireballs in your direction while combating.
- Summoning a fiery wall around the area.
You cannot defeat this boss by simply whittling its health through attacks. As, it will enter into its second phase where it will attack very fiercely. It will have two attacks:
- It will teleport itself around the place and appear next to you while in combat.
- It will create fiery tiles after teleporting itself next to you.

6. Azeos the Sky Titan
As you explore the Core, you will eventually lead to a battle with Azeos the Sky Titan, who is the first of the three titan bosses in Core Keeper. You will find Azeos residing in the Azeos’ Wilderness biome.
Attacks
In comparison to other bosses, Azeos has more attacks than many other bosses. While battling this boss you will need to deal with the following problems.
- You will face a thunder beam that will close in on your position from left and right.
- Another thunder beam will close in on your position from top and bottom.
- A thunder beam cluster will appear and each of them will be moving in a unique direction.
- A thunder beam will appear from the ring before spreading out.
- You will see multiple blue crystals that can only be destroyed with a pickaxe or an explosive.

7. Ivy the Poisonous Mass
Ivy’s appearance resembles Glurch the Abominous Mass. You can find Ivy in the same biome as Azeos – Azeos’ Wilderness biome, approximately 600 tiles from The Core in an area covered with slime. You can easily locate it by using Ivy the Poisonous Mass Scanner.
You will hear a loud thumping sound and your screen will start to shake when Ivy is nearby. After defeating Ivy, you can re-summon it by placing a Giant Slime Summoning Idol on its rune.
Attacks
Ivy will quickly leap towards you, damaging you while landing. Occasionally the Ivy will pause and shoot poison mortars from the sky. On declining health, Ivy will spawn a poison slime.

8. Omoroth the Sea Titan
As the name suggests, Omoroth is a giant boss with an octopus-like appearance. You will find Omoroth in the Sunken Sea biome. To summon this boss you need to use the Expert Lure in one of the biome’ whirlpools. As it has multiple tentacles which you easily defeat to make the combat little easier.
Attacks
Omoroth during battle will spit large whirlwinds that will blow away from its main body. It will simultaneously submerge and reappear in another whirlpool in the area. You can also easily get hit by its tentacles if you go too close.

9. Morpha the Aquatic Mass
Morpha the Aquatic Mass is a similar type of slime boss as Glurch and Ivy. The only difference is its blue appearance. You can find it in the same biome as Omoroth, i.e. Sunken Sea biome. To find this boss you just have to buy and use the scanner from the Spirit Merchant.
Attacks
Morpha has a similar attack pattern on the battleground as of Glurch and Ivy. What makes this boss more dangerous is that it has a larger health pool and can deal far larger amounts of damage than the two other slime bosses.

10. Ra-Akar the Sand Titan
Staying true to its name Ra-Akar the Sand Titan is one of the toughest bosses in Core Keeper You can easily find it within the Desert of Beginnings. It appears as a giant scarab beetle and its behavior and damage output fall short of Igneous the Molten Mass. To summon the boss you are required to place a Thumper in the middle of its den in the Desert of Beginnings biome.
Attacks
There are a total of 4 attacks that you might face while battling the Ra-Akar:
- Burrows and rages across the battlefield
- Sand whirlpools
- Glowing orbs that follow the player around the arena.
- Summoning scarabs to accompany it in fight.

11. Igneous the Molten Mass
Igneous is a giant magma slime found within the Molten Quarry. Finding Igneous is similar to finding other slime bosses. All you need to do is look out for screen shakes and use those instances to triangulate the boss’ location.
Attacks
Igneous might not boast several attacks but getting hit by its gelatinous-like body can spell doom you. Even this boss shares the maximum health similar to Ra-Akar. It will try to slam you using its body. Igneous will jump around the battlefield as part of its combat pattern.

12. Atlantean Worm
You can find Atlantean Worm easily within the Sunken Sea Biome. Similar to the Ghorm the Devourer, you have to travel in a circular path around the Sunken Sea. You can easily access its location through the map using an Atlantean Worm Scanner.
Attacks
You can’t attack Atlantean until it is properly summoned using a Bait Pillar. Once summoned it will attack you with its mouth and spikes. It charges with an energetic attack that might break into lots of balls in a circular pattern. If you are able to weaken Atleantean by damaging its weak spot, it will split out a shorter Atlantean Worm.

13. Druidra the Wild Titan
Druidra the Wild Titan can be found within Azeos’ Wilderness Biome. It is one of the fourth of the six titan bosses. To unlock it you have to first power The Core. You can summon it by placing a Wind Organ of Wilderness close enough to it. You can navigate to its location easily with the help of Druidra the Wild Titan Scanner. Defeating it will unlock the Soul of Druidra.
Attacks
Druidra the Wild Titan has four distinct attack patterns:
- If you are close enough then it will slam down to the ground, dealing damage to you. You will hear a hissing sound before it will attack you.
- Druidra will fire a yellow beam from its mouth.
- It will summon some thorns beneath you. After a short while, the thorns will extend and damage you and immediately.
- Roaring to the sky, and making several blocks fall from the sky while pulling you toward it. At the same time, wind effects will appear on the ground indicating the damaging area of the upcoming shockwave. Following the attack, it will create a shockwave.

14. Crydra the Ice Titan
Crydra the Ice Titan can be found within the Sunken Sea Biome. It is on the fifth number of six titan bosses after you have unlocked The Core. It can be summoned by placing a Wind Organ of Ice. You can easily locate it with the help of Crydra the Ice Titan Scanner.
Attacks
Crydra has three attacks similar to Druidra in addition to a distinct ice crystal attack:
- Slam down.
- Yellow beam.
- Crydra will charge with ice crystal on the ground, which will continuously shoot two volleys of ice shards in a spiral pattern.

15. Pyrdra the Fire Titan
Pyrdra is the sixth and final titan boss unlocked after powering up The Core. You can find it within the Desert of the Beginnings. For summoning the boss you have to place a Wind Organ of Fire. It can be easily located by using a Pyrdra the Fire Titan Scanner.
Attacks
Pyrdra spawns with the souls of Druidra and Crydra. The following attacks will be launched by Pyrdra on you:
- If you get too close enough then it will slam down to the ground, dealing damage to you.
- Like Druida and Crydra, Pyrdra will fire a yellow beam from its mouth while tracking you down.
- It will also spit fireballs to the sky in a line, indicating its impact by red markers on the ground. These fireballs will eventually leave Ground Magma Slime on impact.

16. Core Commander
Found within the Desert of Beginnings, the Core Commander is the final story boss of the Core Keeper. To summon this creature you have to interact and shatter the Crystal Meteorite after obtaining all the six titan souls.
Attacks
Core Commander has three different kinds of attacks divided into 2 phases;
Phase 1
- Summons lightning bolts near you, in 4 different pattern
- Summons Circle of lightning bolts
- Summons a total of three groups of lightning bolts
- Summons a single lightning bolt that is relatively faster.
- Summons of numerous purple whirlwinds.
Phase 2
Turning space around it into the void will leave you with only 3 circular safe zones only for safety. Further, on the battlefield, the Core Commander will attack on safe zone. Which will eventually shrink the size of the safe zone leading it to a radius of about only 1 tile.

17. Urschleim
Urschleim is an optional end-game boss, which is found within the Passage. In this area, it is found about 1240-1280 tiles from the Core. You will hear a loud sound and your screen will begin to shake confirming the boss’ presence.
Attacks
