Trophies in Cronos The New Dawn cover almost every part of the journey from story events you can’t miss, to hidden collectibles, to tough challenges that require multiple playthroughs. For players aiming at the Platinum, the list balances natural progression with a few grindy goals and some missable endings.
There are 48 trophies in this story, showing what each requires and pointing out the trickier ones so you don’t miss them. After that, the hardest challenges like Shell Not Compromised and The Orthodox are given extra detail, since they’ll take the most planning.
All Trophies in Cronos The New Dawn

Cronos The New Dawn lean on story progress and exploration, while a smaller set demands specific actions or careful choices. So, whether you’ve preloaded the game or not, keeping an eye on these as you play will save you from having to replay entire sections unnecessarily. Here the following trophies:
- The Traveler – Unlocks once every other trophy is collected. This is the Platinum and doesn’t require DLC.
- The Catfinder – Track down and pet all 10 cats. They often run ahead or meow when nearby. Each gives an item, like a Core or key.
- Unadulterated Joy – Locate all 10 comic books, usually hidden in optional rooms and resembling notes.
- The Archivist – Collect all 27 Travelogs. They look like radar dishes with green lights, typically found near the main path or upgrade stations.
- To Bring Them Back – Transfer an Essence from one fallen Traveler. (First step toward The Preserver.)
- The Preserver – Transfer Essences from all 5 fallen Travelers. Includes 3 Marzec Essences, which are needed for Togetherness.
- The Boon of the Relics – Acquire all 7 weapons. Most are along the main story, with some in optional areas. Missed weapons later appear in the shop. Note: version 1.04 has a bug, so check your tracker.
- The Contribution – Sell 15 valuables. There are 35 in total. Selling with Lidia Marzec’s Essence boosts Energy gained by 10%.
- Resources Are Scarce – Craft a single item. (Linked to To Pave The Path.)
- To Pave The Path – Fabricate all 8 item types (out of 9 total). Requires blueprints unlocked by finding items in the world. Uses chemicals, scrap, or both.
- Fire. Spreading. – With the Torch, ignite 5 enemies in one burst. The Eliza fight is perfect since many headless Orphans spawn.
- Efficiency Discipline – Use the Sword’s charged shot to pierce and kill 2 enemies at once. Weak Orphans are best lined up for this.
- The Anvil of the Collective – With the Hammer, kill 4 enemies in one blast. Works well during the Eliza encounter with clustered Orphans.
- The Annihilator – With the Arbalest, kill 5 foes in one shot. Ammo is rare (New Game+ only for fabrication), so save it for large Orphan waves in the Eliza fight.
- Rapid Oxidation – Burn Biomass. This occurs naturally in story progression.
- Spacetime Oddity – Activate a Time Oddity. Story-related.
- Counter-Gravity Traversal – Perform a Gravity Jump. Story-related.
- Do Travelers Dream of Electric Sheep? – Use the Conductor to power a device. Story-related.
- Don’t Let Them Merge – Burn 25 dead Orphans to prevent them from merging. Torches, Pyres, and barrels work. Torch dispensers can be reused to farm fuel.Raging Bull – Kill an enemy using melee only. Weak Orphans are the easiest targets.
- Better Than One – Achieve 25 headshot kills. Headless Orphans and aim assist help if struggling.
- Fault-Free – Fully upgrade one weapon. (Part of the Praetorian grind.)
- The Praetorian – Upgrade all 7 weapons to maximum. Costs ~479,600 Energy in total, usually spanning 3–4 playthroughs.
- Forged In Fire – Fully upgrade the Traveler’s Temporal Shell using 36 Cores (out of 37 available). New Game+ allows recovery if missed.
- Welcome To The Vocation – Exit the REV-Capsule. Story-related.
- Such Is Our Calling – Find the Predecessor. Story-related.
- Suppressed Recomposition – Defeat the Unmerged One. Story-related.
- Temporal Destination Reached – Execute your first Dive. Story-related.
- Essence Acquired – Extract Edward. Story-related.
- The Ascendance – Perform your first Ascendance Sequence. Story-related.
- Public Transport – Activate the tram to Steelworks. Story-related.
- The Bigger They Are – Defeat the Steelworks Terror. Story-related.
- My Brother’s Keeper – Extract one of the Baryka brothers (choice between Artur or Gabriel). If timer runs out, Gabriel is auto-selected.
- Down With The Sickness – Defeat the Unmerged Terror. Story-related.
- For Good And For Ill – Extract Dr. Zybert. Story-related.
- Hit Like A Train – Kill the Terror in Station B. Story-related.
- The Sacrifice of the Flesh – Defeat Eliza. Story-related.
- The Pathfinder – Escort the Pathfinder to the tram. Story-related.
- Fixing Things – Uncover the Warden’s secret. Story-related.
- A Flicker of Hope – Spare the Pathfinder after the fight. Choose “Spare him. Let them go.” Unlocks Ending B. (Missable.)
- I Am Free – Kill the Pathfinder after the fight. Choose “Shoot him. End it here.” Unlocks Ending A. (Missable.)
- Shell Not Compromised – Beat the game on Hard Mode. Unlocked after finishing once. Can be tackled in NG+ with upgraded gear.
- Free From All The Scars – Save both Weronikas. Only available in NG+. After the final fight, pick “Begin anew.” Unlocks Ending C. (Missable.)
- You Never Give Up – Finish the game in NG+. All upgrades, weapons, and ammo carry over, but consumables and cores reset. Grants access to Arbalest Bolt blueprints.
- The Orthodox – Complete the game only using story-appointed Essences. Avoid all optional Traveler Essences.
- Punks Not Dead! – End the game with Edward’s Essence active. Tied to The Orthodox. (Missable.)
- Togetherness – Gather the Essences of Lidia, Marcel, and Krzysztof Marzec simultaneously. Do not overwrite until all 3 are collected.
- The Pyromaniac – Burn Biomass with the Pyre. Currently glitched in version 1.04 and does not unlock.
A few collectibles like cats, comics, and Travelogs are easy to miss if you rush ahead, and several endings are tied to late-game decisions. So make sure to have a thorough while progressing in the game.
How to Get the Hard Trophies in Cronos the New Dawn

Some unlocks stand out as tougher or more demanding than the rest. These four are the Hard trophies in Cronos The New Dawn, which we believe are where most players hit the wall:
Shell Not Compromised
Hard Mode strips away your safety nets. With enemies hitting harder and fewer checkpoints, it’s brutal if you go in fresh. Since it can be done in NG+, the smart move is finishing a first run, upgrading everything possible, then taking it on. With boosted weapons, even Hard feels manageable.
The Orthodox
This one forces discipline. You’re restricted to only the story-driven Essences handed out by the Collective. Picking up even one optional Essence from fallen Travelers voids it. It means playing lean and saying no to tempting upgrades, so planning ahead is key.
The Praetorian
Upgrading every weapon isn’t a quick grind. You’ll need hundreds of thousands of Energy, which isn’t realistic in one playthrough. Think of it as a long-term project across multiple runs, selling valuables and leaning on Energy bonuses to make it less painful.
Togetherness
Gathering Lidia, Marcel, and Krzysztof’s Essences sounds simple, but it’s tricky because of the overwrite risk. You have to keep all three at once, and that makes this run incompatible with The Orthodox. A dedicated playthrough is the safest route, holding onto the Marzec Essences until all three are in your phylactery.
That’s the full list of trophies in Cronos The New Dawn. While many come naturally as you follow the story, the Essence-related ones and the full upgrades demand extra thought and sometimes an extra playthrough. If you’re careful with choices and track your collectibles, the Platinum is demanding but fair.
