Doom: The Dark Ages features a variety of collectibles from chapter to chapter. There are secrets hidden both inside the buildings and throughout the outdoor areas, so this guide will show you where to look—walls, rooftops, and ruins alike, for you to get every collectible in Chapter 4! The list of these items goes as follows:

#1 22 Gold + Hell Knight + Secret 1
After defeating the Mancubus, head into the nearby building. Inside, you’ll see three piles of gold right in front of a vent. Collect the gold, then smash through the vent and drop down into a hidden Secret area. Down here, you’ll find gold scattered across the floor and a Toy on a raised platform. There is also a trail of a gold in a ramp leading outside to where you started.
#2 58 Gold + Secret 2
Continue along the main path, and just before reaching a green button on the floor, look to your left for a hidden route. Head that way and you’ll spot a statue above, oozing a strange green substance. Use your grapple to reach the platform where the statue is placed, and you’ll find gold scattered around it. After grabbing the gold, drop down to the left and smash the large crate forward, and it’ll reach the far end. Climb up onto the crate to discover another stash of gold hidden inside a box. This area will unlock the Secret as well.
#3 4 Gold
Activate the green button on the floor and scale the climbable wall from the door that opens. You’ll reach another room with the gold located in the dead centre of the room.
#4 27 Gold + Secret 3
You’ll reach a hallway with a bunch of barrels, and after defeating the hell knights in there, open the door on the left by pulling the lever. Take the 3 Gold in front of you, defeat the enemies and scale the wall. Go around the corner and collect the gold on the walkway. Open the door to unlock the secret area and you’ll find 16 more gold to the right.
#5 Ruby
Keep progressing in the main story, and you’ll get the Ruby from a statue holding it on a chain.
#6 5 Gold + Secret 4
When you’re outside, drop down to the left of the broken bridge to collect the gold. Make your way up the wall and keep going forwards through the cave. You’ll need to climb a few more walls to the top and you’ll unlock a secret area.
#7 Demonic Essence – Armor
You’ll get this after defeating the miniboss across the bridge. It increases your maximum health, helping you in the long run!
#8 26 Gold + Secret 5 + Ruby
When you reach the next broken bridge, be wary of a hidden area beneath the second half. Jump across to the far side of the bridge, then drop down into the space below. Inside, you’ll find gold scattered around—grab it and fight the enemies. Once they’re defeated, climb up the walls to reach another open section. Here, you’ll discover another statue holding a ruby and also unlock the next Secret. Go along the path to the left of the statue for some more gold.
#9 50 Gold
Once you cross the second broken bridge, follow the stairs to the right and get the golden crate inside the building.
#10 5 Gold + Weapon Skin + Secret 6
In the area with the burning tree at its centre, head to the right and follow the stairs—you’ll find gold scattered along the way. On the next floor, you’ll find the weapon skin on a balcony overlooking the burning tree.
#11 21 Gold + Codex
Shoot the cages towards the left and claim the gold. Then, turn towards the right and head straight down the ramps and turn left. You can see a path of rubble leading up. Follow the path and you’ll get gold as well as the codex at the end of it.
