The “Heavy Equipment Entry Path” mission in the Agna Desert region is the best mission to farm Mixed Energy Residue in The First Descendant. You are looking for elite enemies to spawn, these are enemies that are buffed and only these enemies drop Mixed Energy Residue. You can tell if it’s a buffed enemy if it has an orange-colored title above its head.
Your best approach is to use a potentially max-level Bunny as your Descendant to be as fast as possible. If you do everything correctly, you should get around 6-8 Mixed Energy Residue in 30 minutes of repeating the Heavy Equipment Entry Path mission.
