Grounded 2 is a survival game where you get to craft gear, weapons, build your base, and traverse a massive playground. As such, part of the gameplay loop is collecting materials that are essential to your crafting process and survival.
One such item that you can gather in the game is called Flower Petals, which can be used to craft a couple of items. The process of collecting these Flower Petals isn’t difficult, but if you’re a new player, you might feel confused about where to go.
Where to find Flower Petals in Grounded 2
Flower Petals can be obtained from Hosta Plants, which are purple colored flowers found in the game. You can find these flowers near the Picnic Table, which can be found towards the North of the Snackbar Front.
However, apart from the area around the Picnic Table, you can also find individual Flower Petals in and around the initial exploration zones. Just make sure to collect them whenever you find a few, though they aren’t as important as some of the other items.
Finally, it’s also important to mention that collecting the Flower Petals can be a hassle if you’re trying to do it on foot. As such, it’s better for you to wait to access your Buggy and then begin the collection process.

The Buggy can be accessed as part of the main story. You’ll need a special item called Red Soldier Ant Egg, which can also be accessed as part of the story.
You can also find Flower Petals towards the very end of the game. This region is called the Statue, but can only be accessed as part of the Networking quest. However, by the time you reach the endgame, you will have a pretty stock of Flower Petals from the opening section.

You can make a few things with flower petals in Grounded 2. The various materials that can be crafted using these Flower Petals are as follows:

- Bounce Web
- Grinder
You should make sure to keep a steady supply of flower petals handy for crafting. While the chair and the grinder may not seem like much, the pieces of gear and the bounce web are very important.
